Mini Ceiling Fan.No Holes.Just Plug It In!!

I had no problem with the assembled size of the fan although there was no "spare parts bag" with the permanent screws as indicated on the box. The shipping screws had extra plastic on the threads that had to be removed before they would reach through the blades into the female threads. That accomplished, I hooked everything up and made certain that it was all tightened down....It actually looked pretty good....The fact that it was plastic was just fine....I rolled the inline switch to on and it lurched before it fell into its orbital pattern of extreme loud noise.It was so loud that you could not hold a conversation in the same room with it, nor watch tv without the volume being jacked to maximum.This is so disappointing. The size seemed proper for my use and I don't mind that it is plastic, however, I cannot stand the noise.The refund policy being what it is $12.90 for the fan that will be refunded, $5.49 for initial shipping & $5.49 for return, not refunded....I've almost paid the price for the fan and have nothing to show for it.Does this make good business sense to anyone?I think I'm just going to rewire a clip on fan to act as a cieling fan (minus the clip) by recycling the useable parts from the new noisy fan.

I bought this to use as a mobile for my baby as sort of a joke because he loves staring at ceiling fans. It seems decently made, but looked dingy and yellowed when it arrived. Kind of appears like it's been used for years before I received it.It seems to work pretty well, but I wish it had speed settings so I could put it on low. I guess I'll have to make some sort of power regulator for it.This is the only portable ceiling fan I could find in a size like this, so I guess beggars can't be choosers.

This fan was smaller then the picture and it was used with dirt stains on it..
