ZERO* Service call said only wood assembly. For metal at my cost from outside. Escalated & waiting.
ZERO STARS!Note : Rating is not for the product. I might change my review after Amazon or Godrej helps me to use the product, WHICH IS STILL IN 2 BOXES IN MY LIVING ROOM, waiting to be assembled for free as promised. Read detail below about the disappointment so far. I will change the review if the issue is addressed properly.Ordered on 24th May.Delivered on 4th June.Assembly was supposed be on same afternoon. Nobody showed up.Rescheduled to 8th June. Some guy calls me asks if the item is wood or metal. I say steel. He said Amazon only provides wood assembly for free. For metal assembly I need to hire service from outside at my expense. What the hell? Item descriptions clearly says "Free Assembly Provided". When I objected, the guy simply said to contact customer care and hung up. I have chatted with customer care multiple times. They have told me that they have escalated the matter, and will get back to me in 2 working days. By evening again I get email saying the service schedule is cancelled because site is not ready?! Again a round of communication with customer care, again the same promises.9th June morning : Again another person calls me and tells me to get it assembled from outside at my expense, and they would give me a 500 Rs coupon as compensation! Absolutely ridiculous! I just want what I am promised against my payment 17 days ago! I politely refused. Again by afternoon another call, asking me if the furniture is assembled! I said I am waiting. He said he would schedule the service for 11th June afternoon.11th June : 19th day after payment. Will have to wait and see what happens on this day.So even after 17 days from paying Amazon, I still don't have a useable Almirah. Not cool Amazon. Not cool at all.

Disappointed
I have received the components of the Godrej interior cupboard.The delivery person dumped the package and ran away quickly giving no time to react he did not obtain the receipt of the delivery .A technician from Godrej interior visited on 24th August 2024 at 2:30 p.m. he open the packaging and found that the components were in damage conditions and wasn't able to assemble the cupboard as per the norms. the technician inform the facts to the Godrej interior and has assured me that the item will be replaced. But till date it's not replaced.

Be ready to receive damaged product
1)Damaged product received. All outer body parts were damaged and had to return product.2) Though 10 days replacement was mentioned in product description, as per Amazon return was only option. So, need to order again.3) Product received again also had damaged parts. Not sure why can't Amazon/ Godrej manage to send good quality itself.4) Return rather replacement, co ordination for assembly and return of prosuct & damaged parts took lot of efforts.
