Comfortable, fit my wider feet but need at least half size up
I wanted light weight, comfortable walking boots that would fit my wide feet and not bother my bunions! I have taken them out for three short walks, about 1.5 miles, and so far have found them to be comfortable and waterproof. I have only tested them in my local park across boggy grass.. So how fully water proof they are I can't say. Definitely had dry socks. Haven't tried them on proper uneven surfaces so can't comment much about thickness and shock absorbency. They will suit my kind of walking which is only canal and disused railway paths.. I'm not a serious hiker. I read previos reviews about sizing, I am usually five and a half, so bought a 6. They fit fine but won't take really thick socks.

Nice walking boots
Arrived really quick, well packaged and tried on as soon as I could. Nice and comfortable and not too heavy. I ordered a size bigger (7) than I normally would wear and with my thicker socks are a good fit. I will only be wearing these for when I take my dog out for our muddy walks or when we go to our local nature reserve at the weekends and do a few serious miles walking, so nothing like walking up mountains!! They have good tread on them and nice thick laces so would be good for the serious walker or mountain climber!! Overall very pleased and hope they last a few years like my last pair did. Update: wore them today for a few miles and were very comfortable and totally waterproof!!!!

Comfortable but not waterproof for long!
When I first received these boots back in March 2021, I gave them five stars and wrote that they were: "Well-packaged and delivered quickly, comfortable and rugged, whilst being much lighter than the worn-out pair that they replaced."Having just had to buy a replacement pair barely eight months later, I need to significantly revise that earlier review. The boots have indeed been very comfortable and their uppers are certainly rugged but the soles have been a major disappointment. A few weeks ago, I noticed that, when out with my dog in the rainy autumn weather, my socks were getting damp. This was especially the case when walking on the wet grass in the local park. A quick look at the soles of the boots [see photo] showed that the rubber heels had worn clean through.I concede that these are certainly not expensive boots but I would have expected that, even at their budget price, they would have remained waterproof for more than six months, especially as I only walk between three and five miles a day. I therefore award them five stars for comfort but only one star for water resistance. I would further suggest that my overall rating of three stars is probably on the generous side.Notwithstanding the above, I have purchased another identical pair but only because, with winter soon upon us, I needed to replace the worn-out pair in a hurry. However, I am already starting the search for a much more durable pair.

Great Boots!
I had been climbing munros up and down Scotland in a pair of trainers and learned the hard way that I needed a pair of walking boots. Complete Ben Narnain on Saturday and after a good five hours of walking my feel didn't hurt in the slightest! Boots came as described, I am a size 7 but bought a size 8 to accommodate for thicker socks. Half way down the mountain I realised my insoles had made there way up and were sliding out the top of my boots so keep an eye on slippery insoles!

Not waterproof
I brought my first pair of these during a dry spell of weather. I found them very comfortable but, after about 4 weeks, one of the lace loops became detached from the boot. I obtained a refund no problem and, because I found them so comfortable, I brought another pair. Now that the weather is wet, I have discovered that they are not waterproof as advertised. Just walking through wet grass will give you wet feet. Very disappointing!

Definitely waterproof.
Well, they are definitely waterproof. Tested them on a 4 mile walk along canal paths that had loads of deep puddles. It also happened to be driving rain and winds. Feet were warm (no need for thick socks). Comfy, like a trainer. That said, I'd want something with a harder, thicker soul for rocky paths. Good walking starter boot or winter boot for walking the dogs.

Really nice brand
Having purchased a pair of regatta hi-top boots before, I can attest to how well made they are.Ofcourse, these are lo-tops, But once again really very comfortable. Well padded innersoles and even though you're feet happen to be snug and warm. The heat dissipation is great. Treads are nice and chunky too so if anything, one would be learning to "fall up" instead of down, so you really can't complain at that.Size was right on the money, comfort as stated and alike the other pair, they have similar materials that really do the trick if it's damp. The other pair are still strong as an ox after a year abouts too. So that's probably enough to be saying that for the price, you're getting a good product.

Comfortable but maybe on the small side
I bought a size bigger than my normal shoe size so I could wear thicker walking socks in winter but they are quite a snug fit with ordinary socks so maybe size is a bit on the small side. They are very comfortable and light weight, plenty of toe room (I have narrow feet though) and didn’t rub anywhere in a one hour walk. I did find that walking on tracks the soles were a bit thin and I could feel the stones through them so really would only recommend them for grass (I walk mainly on moorland so not too much of a problem for me).
