Mommy & Me: Playgroup Favorites

We received the first Mommy and Me dvd as a gift from my sister. She raved about it ever since her daughter (our niece) was born. They both loved the music and the ability to spend quality time together all the while watching a video. We have one and a half year old triplets boys who absolutely LOVE both dvds!!! They actually ask for them to be played!!! The adults present (myself and my husband included) feel that the music and people are a little hokey at times, but who cares?! As long as our little ones are learning and having fun, it's worth it...and we even find ourselves singing and dancing right along- what can we say, it's catchy! Our boys know which song is coming on next, they do many of the hand movements and dances to the songs, and yes, we have props, as well! (straw hats, instruments, and anything else that can help get them more involved). I must say, if you have a toddler, then these dvds are for you! We play them in the car on long drives, at home, and we've even brought it to a party to share with our friends and their children. Our niece is 4 now and still likes to watch and sing and dance along with her cousins. Mommy and Me is quite a big hit-see for yourself-I'm sure you'll agree! Enjoy:)

we started watching it when he was around 9 months while i carried him and danced along. if i put him on the ground he would crawl away. but now at 11 months he just loves it, he will sit on my lap while watching it and clap along or he would dance around to the tunes. its really cute . i think seeing the babies with their mums and dads made him notice books more, they never really grabbed his attention before, but now as soon as he sees one of my parents magazines with baby pictures on them he will scan the page , kiss the baby and try to turn the page. so i bought him a few books with baby pictures in them and he really spends time looking at them.

I am a working parent of a 2 year old toddler. Unfortunately, many times when I get home I really just want to relax and put my feet up - and not interact with my daughter. This video is fantastic for getting us both in the mood to enjoy each other and have a good time. Most videos for kids are not very interactive and fortunately this one is based on being involved in the activities. The songs are great and well known. My daughter LOVES this video and asks me almost every day to play it in the DVD player. I highly recommend this video for everyone, especially working parents trying to find new ways to have fun with their little ones.

My daughter is 3 year old and we both just love this DVD! I received it from Amazon a week ago and my daughter requested to watch it everyday after dinner. We sing and play following the tape and it is really the best quality time we spend together. I brought her to a music group before. She loved the class but it cost $10/class, about the price I paid for this DVD. Not only this video has a good song collection, but also the way the parents showed love to their kids is contagious. When I kissed/held/tickled my daughter the same way, she felt so happy and satisfied. A great video, it is definitely worth the money.

This DVD rocks the house! My son loves this thing, and he's nearly 4. I got it for him when he was about 2 and he still wants to watch it every so often.It's really helpful because I'm not one of those moms who wants to sit around singing corny kids songs... but I still want my son to be familiar with them.Honestly, I don't know why, but this is a big hit with all the kids who've ever watched it at my house. They really dig it.

I bought this DVD for my son when he was 1 year old. He loved it so much and watched it until he turned in 3. After that, I saved it for my daughter. She loves to watch it too. Therefore, I ended up to buy more and more for my nephews, nieces, relative kids and friends' kids. All of them love this DVD. It is great to have it for all children who less than 3 years old.

I owned this dvd 3 years ago when my nephew was a baby and it came free when I ordered something, can't remember what it was. Anyway, he absolutely loved it and I though it was so cute and a blast to do with babies and kids. My 9 mont old LOVES LOVES this music and we dance together and it's just so fun. Ordered itused and it functions perfectly, few very light scratches that don't affect play whatsoever.

良いとサイトに書いてあったのを見て探していたDVDだったので即購入しました。ニューヨークからの発送でしたので、結構時間がかかりました。パッケージの上の部分のビニールがやぶれていました。リージョンフリーのDVDプレイヤーでないと再生出来ないので、家で使っているDVDでは再生出来ず、パソコンで見ています。どこでも見れないのが残念です。内容はとても良いです。歌は親子で遊びながら見れるし、かけ流しでも一人で喜んで見ています。

My 15 month old loves this video. She always brings me the case & does the "Wheels on the Bus" sign, meaning that she wants me to put it on. She enjoys the cartoon parts as much as the parts with the parents & kids. It's fun and interactive. Mommy may not love however, surprise surprise, but baby loves so thumbs up!My only complaint about this DVD is that you can't hear the kids singing, all the actors ate muted singing along to the words, kind of weird.I'm ordering the second DVD of this series since my child likes to dance & play so much with the first one
