The latest to hold the title of "My Favorite Jacket"
I just got this jacket today but all it took was putting it on to know that this is going to be a much-loved jacket. Levi's is one of those great and rare brands where they've been around forever and yet still seem to care about producing a good, quality product. My last "wore it until for years until it finally fell apart on me" jackets was also a Levi's jacket. It was one I'd found on a clearance rack and it featured a very unusual feature that I'd never seen before: an integrated hoodie complete with front zip portion. That one was a faux leather jacket and eventually it was the surface of that faux leather that started to flake off. So, I was thrilled to find this new style jacket ... made of durable cotton ... that still had that hoodie portion integrated (now even removable!). I already know how convenient that type of hood is (compared to thicker ones). Especially when caught in a rain. Just put the hood up and you're fine. I also like the front zip portion of the hoodie ... that's in addition to the front zipper and front snaps on the jacket itself. The zip-up hoodie portion is great for when it's just a bit brisk and you want to keep the jacket closed. Zipping up the jacket portion is for when it gets colder ... with snaps being the last stage when you want to make sure the wind doesn't get to you. My experience with the previous jacket proved that was a key selling point and not just a gimmick. In terms of sizing, it fits like a comfortable pair of jeans. Gloves tend to be tight and restrictive. At 5'10", 250-lbs, I heavily debated whether I needed an XXL or an XXLT since I have very broad, slanted shoulders with a 20" neck (though some argue I just have a head on shoulders). The overall length and the arm length of the XXL thankfully proved to be perfect. As did the girth of the jacket itself. Plenty of room for 2 layers if needed. Highly recommended!

Great everyday men’s jacket!
Husband loved this jacket and wore it until it was past its prime. So for Christmas he wanted to get a new jacket and was worried he wouldn’t find one he liked as well. So I bought him this new version which is just as great! The quality, color, comfort and sizing are all the same (maybe even a little better?!) and he couldn’t be happier!

Women’s perspective
I’m nearly 5’9” and weigh 139 and bought both the Small and X-Small. I’m slender and fairly tall for a woman. I wanted a durable warm jacket that was for cold weather, but not cold enough to wear my parka. Also wanted something durable for hiking during winter. So, the design is a bit off. In the Small the shoulders are wide, the sleeves WAY too long, it’s wide in the chest…but- the waist is fine.It doesn’t make a lot of sense. So the small was way too big, yet the waist fit fine.So I got an X-small and while the sleeves weren’t too long and it fit better in the middle, the waist is extremely tight. However the thickness of the material is really nice and warm and I’m willing to have the jacket tailored/altered to fit around my waist at the very bottom. The height works great. Not too long or too short. It’ll be puffy looking, it’s not not a slim fit. At least not the Sherpa version. This jacket isn’t meant for skinny people with big hips (women). In fact, I’m not sure who the x-small is for because it’s so tight around the bottom (and I have a flat rear end) and the sleeves long and bust wide. I am not sure what body proportions, male or female, that this would fit perfectly. But I’m giving it four stars because I like the jacket so much, despite having to alter it. The color was just as ordered. I like the hood option to change up styles. The buttons look fine and overall, if it holds up, it should be a good value for the money.

so far so great
we don't have much of a winter here in the southeastern US but the last few years we've had some late winter low 20s into the teens temps for several days to a week and even an occasional snow storm. the cold has never really bothered me before, but i guess i've finally hit that 'old age' where winter isn't as frinedly to me as it used to be. i had a nice jacket but a fishing buddie didn't have one at all so i gave it to her and ordered this one. i really like it, i got the Tall version and it's long enough it doesn't ride up and let cold air up your back when you bend, the sleaves are long enough you can actually pull most of your hand up inside them but not overly long so they are in the way. wore it a few times in the upper 20s and it's very warm, have a week of snow and ice with upper teen temps and high winds expected this coming week and it should more than be adequate. i'll update if anything else comes up.

Excellent jacket
Husband loves this jacket and has it in multiple colors. Plenty of pockets, a button pocket inside, nice hood, keeps him warm in the New England winters when we are shoveling. It is true to size and lasted him about 5 years before he had to replace one
