As a poetry author myself, I love reading poetry and never knew Lana on top of being a remarkable musician was also a poet. This book felt like it was written for her, and some things in this book will always only be intimately for her, but that is the full beauty in it because she writes it in such a way that is so introspective and daunting. Lana also brings such a sense of familiarity to the world in the sense of struggle, hardship, and showing the deeper raw emotions that make us human. I also loved the collages of pictures mixed in with her writing as it portrays such a full story and the print idea was so unique. It's clear that Lana views life as a vessel for art to effortlessly flow out of, not just in her music, but in her writing, in her photography, and I'm sure in many other forms as well. This was such a beautiful mix of collaborative art forms. And that is what life is all about, is being loud about your art. Congrats Lana 👏

First of all the poetry is beautiful! This book served an ulterior purpose. My 14 soon to be 15year old is obsessed with Lana Del Rey. I mean TRULY DEVOTED fan. Like most teens she is anti-schoolwork which includes reading. She used to love to read as a young child seeing her pick this up and read it cover to cover more than 1 time just made my heart smile
