USB connector broke almost immediately
I have to say that I love this small controller. The customer service was also great when the USB connector broke. I was skeptical, but even after the return window, I contacted Black Powder Media, and the shipped me a new controller IMMEDIATELY with a return label for the defective unit. I updated my review from 1 to 5 stars. As for the controller, I love how small it is and its compatibility. It is a very fair price for the controller. I like the clickiness (my wife doesn't when she is trying to sleep) and the case/stand for your cell phone is thoughtful. It is comfy for the size, and I use it to play for several hours in a row on my laptop or phone using emulators. I do wish that it had a charge indicator and a start and stop buttons. But I think that is just me being a perfectionist.I was also a backer of their original kickstarted and have really loved having this controller.OLD REVIEW (1-star): This is a hard review to write. I actually love the controller. But after minimal use (2 months, probably charging like 5 times), the usb connector just fell off. So I can't use it. I am outside of the return window. If Black Power Media replaces my device, I'll update the review, but as of now... I don't know what else I can say...

So far, so good!
First of all, the shipping speed. Wow that was fast. It was at my door just 2 days after ordering it, and that was with just standard shipping. Thanks guys for shipping it out so fast =)The controller took a little fiddling around with to get it to work, but it works as intended. It used to be that the controller would simply map itself to keyboard buttons, which works fine for emulators but doesn't work at all for any other Android native game. Thankfully the developers have added a gamepad mode, which works flawlessly with most Android titles. I played all the Christian Whitehead Sonic games and this controller is flawless. Extremely responsive controls, and surprisingly comfortable to play on, considering how small it is.Unfortunately when I'm using the controller on my HTC One M8 running old school emulators like NES, SNES, and Genesis, I get a little bit of input lag. This is no fault of the controller though, it's on the OS end. It's worth mentioning in case people want to play platformers or 2-way fighting games such as Street Fighter that may rely on twitch reflexes.I'll add more to this review as I get more hands-on with the iMpulse controller.

Doesn't cut it as a game controller.
Well built, arrived in a timely manner, has decent battery life, but simply doesn't cut it as a game controller. Can't use it where I really need it like GTA San Andreas on android. Just not enough buttons to program. Needs to have L/R buttons on the shoulder. For pretty much everything else, such as music player controls, taking pictures, etc, it works just fine.

The controller works, but there is INSANE latency, sometimes up to a whole second. I have tried both keyboard and gamepad mode on my android phone and there is just too much lag. My moga controller does not have latency nearly this high. Its a shame because I really wanted to use this controller.

Bad battery?
It's a great little device with good response time and accessible buttons, even on the back.My problem with it, however, is that the battery life isn't as advertised... Even with very very little use (couple of hours in two weeks) it had already died and needed a recharge.Maybe I just got one with a dud battery, but the idle battery life is definitely dissapointing.Three stars.

This is a neat little controller. I use it with a Snes emulator and it is very responsive. One design flaw i noticed is that they do not provide enough buttons for the select and start buttons so you have to sacrifice one of the buttons in the back .

Find something else. Trust me this is not worth it.
After a month or two of using this thing on my keychain to control my music wirelessly. Now all it does is annoyingly beep every 10 seconds. I checked ALL OVER the internet and mine is just busted. DO NOT BUY. It's cheaply made and the beeping would wake me up ALL THE TIME. This product needs some more improvement. NOT WORTH 25 BUCKS! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS. FIND SOMETHING ELSE.

Nothing Super Glue can't fix.
It's construction isn't as strong as I would have hoped but it performs exactly as it should. Please do look up how to turn it on first time. If you don't you'll think you got a DOA.
