My Catholic Faith! (My Catholic Life! Series)

This may be a nice quick overview, by someone who clearly loves their faith. But it is by no means well thought out or well written enough to challenge or satisfy anyone who wants to truly grown in the faith.The book swings back and forth between arguing the truth of a statement because "it's impossible to conceive of the opposite" and on the next page arguing that something is "too much to grasp!" Well, you can't have it both ways. Don't patronize the reader, and assume all this "philosophy " is too much. We aren't stupid. If you are intimidated by Aquinas, go read Mere Christianity by CS Lewis, you'll get plainer and much better logic than what you find here.

It's amazing how much the book covered in this little booklet. And how well it was understandable. Great book for teaching anyone who wants to understand Catholic teaching

A theologically solid look at the Nicene Creed from a Catholic point of view. Easy to read and not filled with abstraction, the book brings you closer to the faith as you are walked dogmatically line by line through the Creed. A good read.

Inspirational! A must for catholics or anyone interested in the path to holiness. It clarified an abundance of areas that were unclear.

I enjoyed the book. Even if you think you know a lot about the Catholic religion, there is always more you can learn.

Long-time Catholic who wasted many years not learning my faith. I was raised Methodist and did not convert to Catholicism until I was about 35 years old. Even then, through a rather blah RCIA, I needed to learn more. Now I am a Senior Citizen and always striving to learn more about my faith. This book is easy to read, yet makes you think. Very happy with purchase.

This book is well written and inspirational. Every Catholic should take a little time and read it. I sometimes just need a boost in what I am considering or doing with my life at the moment. Sometimes I question my religion. Sometimes I think maybe I'm not on track. This is the book for those people who think like I do sometimes. It was what I was looking for when I needed it. I am grateful to the author!

This book is beautiful!!! It reminds everyone so clearly why the Catholic Faith itself is so beautiful! Read it! Read it to your kids! Give it to an RCIA candidate or confirmand or anyone who has questions about the Catholic faith. The text is written in conversational style which makes it easy and NOT too scary and overwhelming even for a beginner in the Faith to read, yet the clarity and truth expressed will be a helpful review even for the "seasoned" Catholic. Wonderful!!!

This book is fantastic whether you are beginning your faith journey or shoring yourself up after years of practice. The Catechism of the Catholic Church in easily understood segments.

This is a very easy to read and understand book. The fact that it links directly to the CCC makes understanding why we believe what we believe very clear.
