I like the size, it was easy to put together. Mainly it was just the base as I remember and then some bolts to secure the umbrella to the stand. I only needed help lifting the umbrella and slipping it on the base. I'm a woman putting this together. This was purchased as a 2nd umbrella to provide more privacy from the other side of our patio. Everything seems to be aluminum including the handle which I wanted. I heard on other brands that the plastic handles and cranks don't last long. It would have been great if the base were included and didnt need to be purchased separately. I ordered the base from the same company. I can remove the fillable sections if I wish to move the umbrella. I filled the base with water. It gives more stability with water than using sand. Plus sand would be an additional cost and messy. And, sand does not offer the same weight compared to water in weighing the base down. It NEEDS something sturdy to hold the umbrella from falling forward and in place. If you attempt to put the umbrella up without a filled base it will turn over. For the price point this works well so far. It moves smoothly right and left and will turn all the way around using the foot pedal. We purchased another high end one from Costco that also is able to tilt right to left In addition, as this one does not. But I knew that before I purchased and our other one has unlimited up and down settings, unlike this one. We didn't want to spend too much for the secondary umbrella. It compares in being quiet and doesn't make any noise with any wind. It moves very little. I always put our umbrellas down at night or if the weather is not ideal. I plan to bring the umbrellas in over the winter to preserve them. If I had to do it over I might have purchased a generic fillable base because I could have saved almost 50% on the base I found after the purchase, and it would have held more water. But it would have been more bulky to step over. This umbrella seemed to have very good value for the money. I have no regrets on purchasing this cantilever umbrella. I saved a little money purchasing the red one. It goes well with our denim blue looking patio sectional and our other light silvery grey cantilever umbrella set. If your looking for one this is good quality for the price. You might want to give this one a try. I would definitely purchase this again without hesitation. Especially at the price I paid. I've been using this everyday since I got it. Very, very happy with it. If I had found this one first I would have been happy buying 2 of these to serve my purposes. Love it!

Ordered umbrella and it came within days. Upon assembly, a key part was missing that attaches the umbrella body to the base. I started the return process, but had already destroyed the box so I decided to reach out to the seller. I was pleasantly surprised that I actually heard back from them. I explained my issue and they indicated they would send missing part. Next day I received FedEx tracking number. Part came from China, but got to me in a week. Upon arrival, the part fit perfectly and I had the umbrella up within the hour. Appears to be great quality...considering the price and I am very pleased with my purchase. If it only lasts 2+ summers in the Phoenix heat, I am money ahead and will just purchase a new unit for this price. The seller was most helpful at resolving missing part issue.

The umbrella is fine - no complaints about the construction, durability or functionality. My only issue is with the color uniformity across Sunnyglade products. The market umbrella blue is very different from the cantilever umbrella blue - I have them close to each other in my backyard and the colors are so different that they clash badly. If you are using it as a stand-alone product, you will be happy - just don't expect to order multiple Sunnyglade products in the same color and have them match.

It's heavy enough in the box that moving it any distance is a 2-person job.Once unboxed, it only took about 20 minutes to assemble. There aren't directions for assembly, just a parts list, but that's enough tog et the right bolts in the right place if you check the list.This is a killer value compared to other units. Once set up, I realized just how important it is to have the base weighted. just letting the top go out is enough to overbalance the unit with no weights. The advice in other reviews to get pavers from Home Depot is GENIUS! Go for the plain grey pavers about 16 inches square and 2 inches thick. They fit over the base edges nicely and provide plenty of weight.We've only had it a few days but it's very easy to use, nicely adjustable, and we hope the fabric stands up to sun well. We're looking forward to many summer days under it.

Very nice umbrella. Easy to set up and use. First umbrella came with a bent pole that I couldn't see until after assembly. Returned it and got a replacement. 2nd one came without any problems. No complaints so far (only had it a couple of weeks).As others have done, I just used some pavers to hold the base down and it has worked fine so far.This one came a lot cheaper than most other options I could find. Seems to work well for our needs. I hope the color doesn't fade. 5 stars so far, will update if the color fades in time.

LOVE this umbrella! Made extremely well and so far has not faded or given me ANY issues at all. I have had it almost all summer with no fading what so ever. It did not move or fall over during extreme winds that knocked over trees and split power poles. I LOVE that it rotates with the morning and afternoon sun. I made the mistake of keeping my old base that I had used on an older umbrella like this that did not rotate and wondered if I put the umbrella together wrong. Then I saw the umbrella base that they recommended and saw what the issue was. I did not get that base but another one that was similar and it works great.

Like the fact that it rotates and is easy to use.

This is a very good umbrella but the fabric came with a couple of small almost tears in it. The company immediately emailed me back and after I sent pictures they issued me a replacement. Well, the new full umbrella arrived today. I didnt expect that! But its great for them to immediately address my concerns and their response time through message was fabulous. Highly recommend this company!
