Great phone, premium quality! awesome screen.
I was considering 3 phones in the price range of 300£.Realme x50 5G, Moto G5G and the Xiaomi 10 Lite 5G.I have looked through different reviews and each phone has it's advantages and disadvantages and at the end it might come down to preference. So any of these phone are good whichever you choose. So comparison between the phones:The Moto G 5G is bigger and has a massive battery, but the build quality is not as premium as the Xiaomi or the Realme. it has a more vanilla Andriod. I had several Moto G phones and the update cycle was not great. (most manufacturers are not great in that regard). The Realme X50 has no earphone jack.Similar battery to the Mi 10 Lite. All phones have the same cpu/chip which is a 2020 mid range chip doing everything fine, you don't really need anything faster for everyday use. (if you are not a pro mobile gamer). I had a Samsung Galaxy S7 and the Mi Lite is faster, just to put this into perspective, how much midrange phones improved!Someone wrote in the Amazon reviews the Realme x50 has a 120Hz screen compared to the 60Hz on the Mi 10Lite. yes, but the Xiaomi Mi 10 Lite had an AMOLED screen vs the LCD screen. The AMOLED screen will always win, and is the better screen. (check review's) Color, depth, saturation etc.I choose the Mi over the others because of:- price drop- best screen- audio jack- support for Hi Res music- premium build quality- smaller screen than Moto (which was too big)Regarding taking photos it's hard to tell which phone is better, different reviews, different options. The photos the Mi 10 Lite takes seem to me better compared to my Samsung s7 which was a premium phone and had the best camera at that time. This is only my perception and my personal opinion. The only downside someone might find is the MiUi OS on top of Andriod. This phone runs MiUI 12 which definitely improved over MiUi 11.If you want a more lean Google UI you can install a different launch, customize the phone. and forget about the MiUI, that's what I did, and you can disabled the ads.Overall price to quality rato is worth it, great phone, very pleased, premium screen and build, who need a phone for 500£???????

Buy Mi 9. Same phone only cheaper.
Kind of disappointed. Previously owned Mi 9 which was in top 3 smart phones I ever owned (i do kill on average 3-4 a year). Comparing it to Mi 9 both have same ram, wery similar CPU (1-3 % faster), identical type and size memory, same camera. Only perceptible difference is slightly larger screen, worse battery life ( funny enough since it is a bit larger capacity) and higher price.Saying all that this is still stylish, well built, snappy bit of kit.

Under-rated phone, with capabilities that put flagship phones to shame.
Excellent phone, great features, half the price compared to other phones. Has unique turbo boost, apps work faster if need be without lag. This shows the components used on SOC and the architect of the SOC is robust and articulated. It has early 5g connectivity, in some places data is super fast. It’s light and very smooth. It’s sure an very unrated phone, i have iPhone 11 Pro Max, however I still find this phone (xiaomi is only few hundred behind) the 2 year manufacturers warranty shows xiaomi knows it’s phone well.

Best value for money
This is an amazing 5G phone for the price. I came from a Note 9 which I bought over 2 years ago and it doesn't feel any less premium with it's all glass design and AMOLED screen. There is little point in spending £500+ in phones these days. For a sub £300 budget, can't go wrong with this or the Realme X50 5G.

Ok phone but software holds it back
For context, I upgraded to this phone from a OnePlus 3T as the battery on that one was going. That being said anything I would buy in todays market would be an automatic upgrade in terms of speed, camera and battery however there are some issues I found when using this phone.I have encountered a few bugs in the 2 weeks of owning this phone. They may seem like little things but to me they add up to a frustrating experience that I didn't have with my previous phone.- Silent mode nor do not disturb mode (DND) fully silence the phone from notification (silent mode still vibrates and DND doesn't do anything at all). I've actually been woken up multiple times from it and resorted to shutting down the phone when I sleep. Not sure if anyone else has had this issue but this was the final straw that prompted me to return the phone.- Once when I turned the phone back on I found that the top notification bar wasn't visible for whatever reason.- Swiping left on the home screen shows Google news articles. If a YouTube video shows up, I sometimes get spammed with a "YouTube has crashed" error which is annoying.- The screen is not good in sunlight and I feel that it struggles more than my old 3T did.- The fingerprint sensor simply feels inferior to my 3T's (perhaps because it's built into the screen?). It's slower, takes longer to start and is less reliable.- This is personal preference - this is the first time I've used MIUI and I'm not a fan. I've heard mixed opinions about it and while it isn't a deal breaker, it is something I do not like. Also there's far too much bloatware and the fact the phone tries to offer ads is annoying.- Another personal preference is that I don't like the headphone jack at the top of the phone and I'd prefer the volume buttons to be opposite to the lock button. Thought to mention this because I didn't think it mattered - turns out it does for meI'd still recommend trying the phone out because the problems I've outlined aren't deal breakers on their own and for a 5G phone it has pretty good specs however, combined they bring down the experience a lot mainly due to the software and the bugs associated with it.

Nice phone for the money
Really good phone for the money I paid . 5g ready and 48mp camera also fast changing . Phone also has WiFi calling which I use a lot. I've used Samsung for years but they've gone to expensive so I thought I'd give this a try and I'm glad I did.

Really good phone
Bought it for a teenager. Simple to set up. Smooth gaming. Tip: Stop Data Collection & Remove Ads on Xiaomi Phones.
