The only set back was my cat heard the second hand and kept attacking the clock because he thought there was something alive. We moved the clock so Shadow can not reach it unless he gets creative.

I bought this in 2013. When I received it, all three hands were not fastened securely - just hanging loose. I took the cover off too fasten them on the spindle. Even though I got them on, it didn't work that well. The AA battery compartment is such a tight fit, that either between inserting the battery or removing it misplaced something internal to the mechanism. Flash-forward to 2020 with time to look at this closely. I have watched several videos on repairing clock mechanisms, so I have taken it apart to find the problem. I am finding that the gears do not fit that snug together - the magnet gear (which links with sec, min, & hour gears) does not even sit properly. I am still struggling to get the hands to stay on! Since I spent money on this, I am going to buy a better clock mechanism to replace the cheap one - though it would be easier to buy a clock at a dollar store, print and paste a face plate with the square roots to use at school.

I am a math teacher - I bought this clock for my school's math department office and everyone LOVES it. (It's more for an office or dorm, rather than someone's home.) A great, inexpensive gift for any math teacher, math office, or math nerd :)

The clock face was just a bit too large for the (bog standard) plastic clock it came in. Had hoped for something nicer.

I wasn’t happy with the clock. It was flimsy and sub-substandard. It was supposed to be a gift for a family member.

I bought this for my classroom. I teach math. I thought it would be a fun thing to have on the wall. I posted a pic on Facebook and everyone is loving it. I got it two days ago, it's kind of small, not fancy, kind of cheap, but it looks cool, and should work just fine. But I'm glad I bought it for the price. For similar purposes, I would recommend it.

This is an awful piece of crap. I literally bought it only to find the 'face' of the clock appears to be a photocopied piece of paper cut to fit onto the micron thing piece of plaster that makes up the clock body. I'm not kidding here. I'm a pretty easy guy to get 5 stars from. If a product meets even the most basic requirements, I'll rate it highly. In this case, I don't think it ever worked. The clock face was wrinkled paper which got in the way of the minute and hour hands, causing them to stop.I was taught not to criticize unless I could do something better myself. I'm pretty sure I could find a better clock by looking in a dumpster down the block.
