The "ALMOST GREEN TEA" Oolong
This is the Oolong tea to enjoy, for people who find the more fermented oolongs (ie Big Red Robe) just a little too smoky. The quality of the tea is apparent, when you examine the rolled up tea leaves inside the aluminum inner bag. When brewed, the small, tender young leaves unfurl in the cup. Most of the leaves are whole, and barely bruised. Obviously these are the top leaves, young and tender, because of the small size. The brew is a true gold color, and the floral notes obvious, even on the third infusion. I rarely brew leaves more than twice, but this Thai Golden Lily tastes just a rich and milky smooth on the third infusion, as with the first. (The first infusion, brew a little less than 5 minutes, and the third infusion, use a little less water, and brew just a minute longer than the second infusion.) If you're not brewing these leaves 3 times, you're throwing your money away. Seriously. If I didn't know better, I would swear this was high quality green tea, since it presents just a touch more smokiness than something like Dragon Well. The reason is because Golden Lily Oolong is only fermented about 20% as much as regular Oolong. Excellent tea, and since you're getting three cups of tea using the same leaves, it's actually economical, compared to the dried out powered tea leaves that you get in tea bags. Excellent bouquet as well.I was provided a free sample in exchange for a fair and honest review.

After one cup I ordered more. Love this stuff!
Wow, this is really good! I put a bunch of tea in a tea ball in water that was slightly under boiling. I forgot about the tea ball and I ended up brewing the tea in my cup until the water was about room temperature. I'm a long time tea drinker. If you did what I did with the majority of tea what would end up happening is that your tea would be VERY bitter. Not this tea! Nope, I didn't detect any bitterness. Actually, this might be the best way to brew this tea! Brew it longer than normal. I've never had a tea like this before. When you brew it strong it has this creaminess that lingers in your mouth for minutes after you take a sip. It's really surreal. The first couple of sips from this tea I was not impressed. Even after that long brewing it didn't have much flavor then out of nowhere that creaminess appears and like I said before, it just lingers around and it is so delightful. It is light, smooth, and creamy. What a wonderful tea. I think most of the people who dislike this are simply not brewing this long enough. I just don't understand how you can't like this. Awesome!
