D. L. Moody: The Greatest Evangelist of the Nineteenth Century

When I purchased the D.L. Book. I knew it was going to be very pleased and happy. I did this as a gift for my sister who went through a terrible divorce and much sickness. Books are better than Cards as far as I can tell. I love books. They can always cheer you up during the day and then before you can read a small passage before bedtime. May this book bless someone and help them live a wonderful life. If you get a chance try reading more of his books. These are a very good read. With much gratefulness and kindness you have shown me I shall never forget what you have done. I know you have a difficult job. I was particularly touched by the story of the Sunday School teacher who led his entire class to the Lord as D. L. Moody carried him house to house on his death bed. What a burden and what I believe was a life changing event for Moody. Great read and really nothing negative to say.

Great book. Very inspiring. I have also read Dwight Moody's biography and his dedication to God and work for others leaves one realizing how little they have done. As he said ," It is amazing what God can do with a man that is totally committed to Him."

Like it very well. I do enjoy reading about the life and ministries of Godly people and this was no exception.

Very good biography. Interesting. Loved it.

Good book on Moody’s life. Well written. I wanted an older version as I thought it would have more info than the more modern versions. Very pleased. Goes into detail out how a man considered a redneck proved he was more than capable of standing with the upper classes of his time and achieved more than they believed he could. And that’s before he started serious preaching!

We read this as part of ACE scheme. Loved reading about DL! Only negative was the grammatical errors! You need to read it!

Brilliant book. Unfortunately the front cover was cut and his picture was cut out. Very good book
