Shipping package was in perfect shape despite other reviews, only saw a few pretty bad pics so I kinda went out on a limb buying this rod but it’s compact when taken apart and very stiff. The reel itself is super smooth all parts function properly if not better than what you expect for a $80ish baitcaster combo. I for sure recommend this to a beginner to anyone who wants to get into using a bait caster.

the rod came broke but only at the end. but still 90 bucks for a broken rod and a terrible reel come on don’t buy this product. don’t waste your time it’s super over prices

It arrived on time. the packaging of the outer box looked good but the inner box for the rod was all beat up. The reel was also just bubble wrapped and thrown in to float around. As far as I can tell there is no damage to either though. I have this exact same reel already so I am familiar with it and its pretty good for the price. The rod looks very nice and the handle and reel seat are solid. I haven't put the rod under any real stress yet but I will update the review if it snaps on me. I look forward to putting some fish on it.

cast them in my backyard.They cast very well and have a nice smooth . I looking for fishing them come spring..Its great product at a very fair price. Ps，With 12lb PE line and a 1/2 oz lure this combo is perfect. It casts a mile and super lightweight.

The fishing poles are great for my two boys who just started to learn to fish and cast with a bait cast pole. We had been using them for the last couple months since Christmas. We had received two of them, one had a issue with the reel. I contacted the supplier and they promptly replied and shipped me a replacement reel immediately. These are the kind of companies that I like to deal with. I will definitely buy products from them again. Thanks for all your help! Catching some big large mouth bass on these poles!

ive used this combo maybe 15 times in the past month and it feels as smooth as the first day. easily pulls in keeper flounder and trout.

This is a well built and quality product. The mechanism is smooth and strong I would recommend this set of tools to any beginner or new enthusiast fisherman. Great gift. My son absolutely loved it. Lightweight and sturdy and so nicely made. Nice case and added accessories too. He immediately went out to lake and caught six fish !
