The hat looks great and will only get better.

I have three fedoras that size that fit great. This is too big.

It came with cork spacers to take up slack if it was too big but even using all of them it is too big

One thing I liked about this hat was the color. It's a good dark gray without a yellow undertone like some grays have. If you were trying to decide between colors for matching purposes like in our case (we needed a hat to match a groom's wedding outfit), I'd say it leans more towards a David's Bridal charcoal. Photos make the color look different depending on the lighting or whether flash is used, but the photo I've included of the hat still in packaging (first photo) is the closest to how it appears in person.I also appreciated the packaging that Borges & Scott uses. This hat is shipped in a separate box within a typical Amazon shipping box as opposed to being in just a plastic bag. The shape was as pictured since the hat is protected by a cardboard and foam insert. However, if needed you could always reshape it to your liking thanks to the snap brim.Unfortunately, this hat just wasn't the right fit. The crown was a little tall and the brim was slightly too wide for my tastes. Other than the fit though, it's an otherwise nice hat for the price. If the style works for you, I would recommend it.Lastly, it came with a stain at the top (see second photo) which is partly why I couldn't give this 5 stars.

I got it for my husband. Very well packaged. Its a little big but thats ok. Still looked great on him! Might have to get the black next time. :)Update! I bought him another one in black just a size smaller and he likes it a lot. So now he has a gray and black. Love them! Thank you again!

The quality of the hat is unsurpassed. The quality of the shipping box and materials is the worst I have ever received as far as damage goes. The box was destroyed as if it had been run over. Both ends were wide open and the hat, hat bag and pouch of cork fillers were all laying there for anyone to take. However everything was in tact and the hat adjusted quickly into shape. It is as described by the seller a crushable hat. I am very pleased with the hat and I am also very surprised that I did not have to send it back. Had it been of lesser quality I'm sure it would have had to be returned. As it stands I am enjoying wearing it.

Not bad. The hat is a little large but it comes with cork sizing tape which remedied the situation. I am not crazy about the band. Compared to my other hats it looks cheap and is a lint magnet. Other than that the hat doesn't appear to be too light weight. It stands up to the crush test so I would have no compunction about sticking it in a suitcase. The brim snaps well so it is easy to adjust the style as desired.Would I buy another? Well, I don't see owning a Borsalino Fedora any time soon so I might spring for another of this hat in grey.

Hats are often the bane of my existence. Finding anything that can fit upon, let alone compliment, my massive, balding dome is always a joy, and I now have a wall of eclectic hats, some of them purchased for no better reason than they fit! This one won't be spending much time on the wall, though. It's style and comfort ate going to make it my new work hat once it's done it's duty in the theatrical production I ordered it for. I may be a contractor, but that doesn't mean I can't dress like an Appalachian bootlegger.

Il cappello è molto elegante e ben rifinito, peccato per la vestibilità, è preferibile prendere una misura inferiore a quella che si usa di solito, altrimenti si fa l'errore che ho fatto io e cioè che il cappello risulta grande. Per il resto tutto corrisponde a quanto descritto dal venditore, ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo.

El primero que pedí era la misma medida que la cabeza pero tuve que devolverlo porque da más talla y le quedaba grande. Pedí una talla menos y perfecto. La devolución rápida y sin ningún problema.El sombrero casi como el de Indiana Jones,pero éste tiene reborde en el ala, pero queda bien.

Me gusta mucho este sombrero. Lo llevo ya un año y lo he llevado fuera de casa y para trabajar buena parte del año.Es resistente. Se puede mojar. No se mancha fácilmente.El problema mayor que le veo es que no se puede lavar. Yo lo lavo con cuidado con toallitas pero no es suficiente.Si lo que buscas es el sombrero de Indiana Jones, se parece pero no es el modelo.Anyway, este es muy chulo.

Beautiful hat, second one I have bought as a gift. Well made a will probably buy again in future.
