Impressive for the Price
I'm a very casual gamer, so I'm not as picky as others may be. But this mouse seems to work as well as the more expensive ones. Mice seem to die for me after a couple year no matter the "quality", so <$10 for a mouse that works this well is the mouse for me. Three minor disappointments that may or may not be important to you:> The light on the scroll wheel pulses and there is no option to make it solid (though you can turn it off).> The knurled thumb scroll adjusts volume and cannot be mapped to any other function (a disappointment for me as I really hoped I could use it for horizontal scrolling in spreadsheets).> The optional pinky rest is positioned too far forward on the mouse body to be useful for anything. And a few pleasant surprises:> The lighting is highly customizable including the brightness and the ability to turn it off.> The thumb and pinky rest store magnetized to the bottom of the mouse so you can't lose them even if you don't use them.> The software allows pretty extensive button function customization (with the exception of the thumb wheel).

Way above average budget mouse.
PRO:Very good price.Solidly built and won't creak or flex.Comfortable shape that conforms to the hand.Balanced size that allows both palm and claw grip. All smooth black plastic with no weird rubber bits and minimal grooves for dirt to get stuck in.Mouse wheel scrolls smoothly unlike the last budget gaming mouse I bought. The volume wheel is well positioned where it never gets in the way and won't be accidentally bumped.CON:Middle click is does not feel good to press. I suggest assigning the extra buttons at the front of the mouse to middle click.Things you should know:Holding down the button on the bottom makes it completely dark. The mouse is a bit heavy due to the magnets on the bottom that allow you to adjust the shape. I don't think it is too heavy but you should know it is weighted but the weights are functional due to the magnet feature and I don't think they can be removed. The default polling rate is 500hz but can be changed to 1000hz using the driver. I have no idea why it defaults to a lower polling rate. Cheap mice usually poll at only 125hz, so even if you don't change the setting this mouse feels extremely smooth and responsive by comparison.

Excellent value for money
Just a little background so you people see why I am so impressed.I was once a logitech only person, but the prices in the past few years for the ones with plenty of extra buttons, and I love my extra mouse buttons, was too high. I use mouse buttons for shooting, aiming, alt fire, reload, throwing grenades, and other "weapony" things in my favorite FPS games. So an affordable mouse with lots of extra buttons was a big thing to me.I was just randomly searching gaming mice when I saw this, and was blown away that so cheap a mouse got such good ratings. So, I half-impulsively bought it.No regrets. Easy to program buttons (Some games don't recognize buttons beyond the 3 typical ones, so I make them keyboard keys.) easy to set DPI, polling rate, etc. FPS games, action RPG's, or any game where it would help to keep your hands on the WASD keys as much as possible would work well with this mouse, and if those genres aren't your thing, I'm sure you're creative enough to think of a way to use them. The little volume wheel on the thumb area is a great thing too, as some games come across louder or softer, so switching from one to another doesn't involve adjusting your speakers for the thousandth time as you switch games, or even youtube videos. When, one day when my wonderful new mouse goes to mouse heaven, I shall shed tear, and order another, likely a different model by that time, made by Pictek.

Another great mouse from PICTEK. Probably best budget mouse.
I am a returning customer of PICTEK mouse. This mouse has smoother surface than the one I owned (PC217A, it is still working and I need another one for my notebook PC). Instead of its usual bumpy thumb rest, they replaced it with a rougher surface on the inner side of mouse (where you put your thumb). The pro is it is easier to clean so I feel like this is really great as I like my mouse clean. The weight is moderate. I can move it around with ease. The pieces for resting your fingers (those two pieces displayed in the product picture) are adhered to the mouse with magnet so you can remove them at will. No screwdriver needed. A smart design. Overall, this is a great mouse, got RGB, got multiple buttons. Definitely the to-go mouse.

Great full featured mouse for a bargain
This mouse has plenty of buttons and even a volume wheel- something I'd looked for on keyboards, but is only available in really pricey ones. And in Window 10, this volume wheel ever worked right out of the box, first time I plugged it in. I also like the size- I had a nice Logitech gaming mouse, but the device a bit narrow and small for my hand. This one is just the right size and has magnetic adjustable clips for thumb and pinky rests. The LED is least important on my list, but i you like the ability to have flashy lighting, this mouse serves you well. Finally, it comes with a braided cable, which also is an upgrade compared to the Logitech it's replacing that was triple the cost.

Nice Mouse
This is a nice corded mouse especially for the price. Out of the box, it was plug and play. The instructions could have been in a larger format for easier reading, but I got through it to figure out the many different button controls. The plastic that it's made of is a bit very smooth. I am not using this for gaming so it should be ok. After adjusting the dpi and scroll sensitivity, this is a keeper.
