Excellent value for money
I’m really pleased with this - needed something to take abroad to do some curtain repairs - lightweight but very stable - have tried it out with multiple layers of fabric and curtain tape - works fine - there is a foot pedal but I haven't bothered with it - i think for straight line sewing the on off button will be more than adequate. Can run on mains power or you can put batteries in - only used in the mains so far. It comes ready threaded with the tension set - you can adjust it but no need to. I tried it with a normal thread reel on top but wasn’t convinced about the tension so just used bobbins on the front (like the one which came threaded) works really well. Excellent for the price. Read the instructions properly because not all bits are the same as a regular full size seeing machine. Very impressed

Brilliant highly recommend
I'm a total beginner and I looked at the YouTube video on how to use this machine and had a little bit of help from a friend. I had never used in machine properly before and this machine is higher price elsewhere. It was free delivery and honestly this machine does about as much as any machine under £100. Even though it's a mini it is the equivalent of a craft and I'm told that unless you spend a lot of money you can't do heavy projects anyway. So far I've used it to do clothing repair and craft work and I'm absolutely thrilled with it. It has given me a new hobby later in life when unable to work and the seller was good too. There are different brands of the same machine and I'm not connected to any of them but genuinely liked this product and wanted to take the time to say so including some of the pictures of what I've made. It's hard to find good in the world sometimes these days so I'm sharing something I found to be good. I believe it will work up to the depth of denim and I'm not sure it would double up on that but you'd be amazed how much you can do with that capacity. Because I am a beginner I have found this machine nice and simple to get used to. I made a few mistakes but there was a really helpful YouTube video with it as well and soon get the hang of it. It doesn't do reverse stitch which is probably its biggest slight but it's easy enough to turn the fabric round to double stitch. If you are looking for a start of a machine to see if you like sewing as many people give up on you hobbies I would recommend this. I certainly think it is great value for money. It even has a little light on it. Recommend getting some needle threaders as you will need them while you learn it cheap enough on eBay. Happy sewing to you and I hope that more people learn this great skill in this day and age.

Dangerous. Do not buy
I bought this because it seemed to have good reviews. When it arrived I read through the instructions before trying to use it. I plugged it into an extension lead which I use all of the time and made sure the sewing machine was off. I connected the foot pedal as per the instructions. Switched it on and it instantly started to run without touching the foot pedal at all. It ran for a few seconds and then stopped. It wouldn't do anything at all and then there was a strong burning plastic smell. I quickly switched it off at the mains and found that I couldn't remove the plug, it had welded into the socket of the extension lead leaving me not just without a sewing machine but also without an extension lead too. I've contacted to seller and as of yet had no response. Stay well away. It's cheep for a reason. No point in going cheep if it doesn't work and you run the risk of electrocuting yourself

Mini Sewing machine
The sewing machine came with a material on the mini sewing table to get you started, my first impression was wow that is so helpful for the customer, especially if you are beginner. I used it first time had a go with the material already intacted, it worked fine. Then I think the thread broke and thats when I got a little confused to where the thread goes etc. I could not use it but hubby was better then me at using it. Overall it is a good sewing machine and very cheap price, it does basic straight sewing, I would recommend this to those who want to fix a top or dress, make pillow Cases, do little jobs. I don't think this is suitable to do bigger heavey materials, & also it doesn't have a choice of sewing patterns. I hope it lasts. It is very small too, but very handy to have then going to a tailor that charges you a arm a leg for simple stitching.

FANTASTIC Little Machine
I purchased this little fella to make a Halloween costume. Admittedly I had absolutely no idea how to set the machine up, but YouTube (Easy Sewing for Beginners channel) saved the day and I was up and running in no time. The instructions that come packaged will be of no help. Before purchasing, I had read the reviews and was aware of the product's limitations. I was able to hem bedsheets without a problem but it was very difficult to stitch through thicker velcro strips to attach them. It's just not designed to be powerful enough to penetrate thicker materials. That is fine for me though. After making my costume, I will be using this little gizmo to fix a load of blown out pockets in various jeans and jackets I have and it will be fine for that purpose too. The machine will more than pay for itself here as it would cost much more for me to go to a shop and get the jobs done.I paid just FOURTEEN pounds for the sewing machine and it does exactly what I need it to do. It also comes with some handy extra features such as winding your thread onto a bobble, multi-speed, thread cutter etc.So, if you know the limitations and are happy with that, then you really can't go wrong and I'd highly recommend it.

Brilliant little machine
I bought this for granddaughter (12 yrs) as her previous beginners machine broke, despite it being towards the £100 end. This new machine is amazing! It's tiny but goodness me, it works well. I would absolutely recommend this for any children/people new to sewing machines. It works beautifully and even has a light. I wouldn't mind one for myself especially as it's under £15.
