Very soft and plush. Quality is definitely in this product.I use normally to sleep, so I wash it normally aswell and it Still is as plush as day 1. yes it has a little weight, perfect to stay cozy. This blanket looks and feels great👍

This is the second time I've bought one of these blankets, and they're SO SOFT!The first one I bought about four years ago, and after three years of solid, every day use and once-monthly washes, the stitching around the edges started to fray. After this winter I decided it was time to replace it, and immediately ordered the same one because it is my FAVORITE blanket.It's big enough to fit on a queen-sized bed, warm enough for winter use, and cool enough for spring/fall. (It's a tad too thick for the hottest months of summer, at least for me. I end up kicking it off halfway through the night.)But it's SO soft and cozy, and legit one of the best blankets I've ever owned. The brand I received both times wasn't Bedford Homes on the tag, it was some off-brand. ’LHC’ I believe? But I don't really care because the quality is still amazing.

Very warm and soft blanket. It's pretty heavy but works wonderfully. The only problem with it is trying to take it back from my dogs who want to curl up on it and keep it for themselves. Fits a King bed pretty well, but not a lot left over on the sides. The color is great, better than I expected and have washed it probably 3 times so far with no loss of color. Time will tell, but it feels well made and sturdy. The edges are machine hemmed very nicely. Pretty blanket. I want another one.

This blanket is nice and thick and also soft, but not as soft as my other plush blankets, which is why I returned it. Also, with the teal color, it looked a little too shiny and not as classy as I'd hoped. I saw another blanket that is cheaper and thick and am going to try that one. I did not try this one out for sleeping so it might be the perfect weight for me. I just didn't want to try it and then decide I didn't want it because it's over $50 and I couldn't return it after using it. Bottom line, even though I rated it four stars, it might be a five star item for the right person and other colors might be less shiny.

I was worried this blanket would be too large. Too heavy. Too bulky. But it's not. It's big, yes, but you can spread it out to it's full size for less weight, or fold it for more weight. On nights when my anxiety is high, I fold this in half, and use it on top of my covers. The weight is perfect and relaxes me enough that I can sleep. It's not too warm, even when doubled over. I love the texture - it's more like thick crushed velvet than minky. It's super soft! I have recommended this blanket to several friends. The price point is really good for a weighted blanket!

This is a very nice, large blanket, but it is definitely not as weighted as I expected. It's quite thin so I think the weight the company is referring to is due to the sheer size of the blanket. It completely covers my queen bed like a comforter. Though it is thin, the blanket warms like an actual comforter. I wish it was truly a weighted blanket like I had hoped for so it could be used to soothe anxiety etc, but as just a nice, big, soft blanket, it works great.I did reach out to the company regarding it not really being heavy enough to be therapeutic, and the company was extremely responsive and offered to send me a full refund if I returned the blanket. However, I ended up deciding to keep it because it is a good one to have for guests or on the sofa etc.

Love how thick and heavy this blanket is! I do wish it came larger as it isn't very wide on a king size bed. It only has an inch or two draping over either side as it is. Due to its size and weight it would need to be taken to a heavy duty washing machine but as others have mentioned, it shouldn't be too much of a problem. When I first opened it, it did have a slight plastic smell from the packaging which wore off within the first day of having it out. I'll need to buy a few more for guests since I'm not sharing this one!

Very heavy and warm and soft and cuddly and cozy, and the color is beautiful like looking at a deep azure blue ocean. It even has a bit of a sheen so when it's bunched up on the bed when you get up it even looks like ripples of water. Just beautiful. It's also nice and warm and definitely does a good job of blocking the cool drafts and such.
