Buoy
Taylor made makes the best buoys. I replaced my old buoy with this model. It is sturdy and will be perfect.May 2015 Update: I am less enthusiastic about this buoy than I was when I first reviewed it. one year later and only 30% of the reflective blue striping remains affixed to the buoy. I might also note that the buoy only serves as a "marker" buoy on a freshwater lake to derer inconsiderate speeding boaters from coming too close to shore. One might think that the fine minds at Taylor-Made would have long identified and corrected the tape issue. Given it was over $150, I expected better quality.

Big and beautiful - shows up great!
I like this product. At first I thought it was too big for a fresh water lake. Now that it is on the water I think it is great. Easy for other boaters to see. Looksgresti my busy bay where I moor my boat.

Well made and durable
Definitely can hold weight of 24' of 3/8" stainless chain without any issue. Seems to be well made and reflector is nice touch. Galvanized hardware included and seems pretty strong.

Broke within 1 year!
Do not buy this product! We had this buoy in the water for less than a year and the bottom of hardware broke off! We only had our boat on it for a couple of the summer months! I have had buoys that last over 15 years! This is the second one we lost within 1-2 years! Pretty steep price for crap quality! It’s a good thing my new $40,000 boat wasn’t attached and the tide was coming in so I could retrieve it! TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!!!! Now to find my very expensive stainless steel anchor chain!

Do not purchase
I would avoid purchasing this buoy, I had my buoy in a freshwater lake for roughly 8 years when it rusted out and I lost my buoy. I would have been very upset if my boat was attached when it rusted out and floated away.
