The advertised dimensions are not accurate. The official size is 8.5" x 7.5" x 9". Unfortunately, the usable size is really 5" x 5.75" x 9". For this reason, the product is too small to be useful.

Thick, heavy plastic and slim but sturdy metal handle are the good points. But you have to have a particular need for the 5 qt or it's going to be too small. The inside bottom measures 5.25" x 6" in a D shape. You can get two rectangular cleaning bottles inside, or one bottle and a roll of paper towels. Handy for small household cleanup projects and that's it. I'm tempted to give mine to my grandsons to carry small toys in.

I bought this specifically to carry around the toilet cleaning brush for bathroom cleaning days. I really like this bucket because it is just the right size for what I wanted it for. It is tough plastic and seems like it will hold up well. I intended on buying more of these for carrying around a cleaning bottle and rag for quick clean up jobs around the house. This tough little pail is the perfect size for my use in weekly cleaning of a small bathroom and holding my cleaning supplies in between cleanings. The red color reminds me that it is only to be used for cleaning. It was also available in other colors. I always feel confident buying Rubbermaid products.

I needed a storage pail for bathroom. After much searching I discovered this item and it's a near perfect size for my need. Quality item, not cheaply made.

Finally a commercial grade bucket! This bucket is difficult to tip over! Heavy sides keeps my hot water hot longer. Handle is sturdy enough to keep bucket stable and no fear of pulling off.

This pail is small and sturdier than the usual pail. I bought it to put under my kitchen sink. Very happy with my purchase.

Definitely doesn’t look like the picture. It’s a brighter green and a little smaller than I expected.
