great mallet
I used this for over 1200 linear feet so far and it works great. My favorite mallet that I have used.

great mallet
We lost our old mallet for the floor stapler, bought this one and love it. The ergonomics of our floor nailer and the accompanying mallet are laughable. This mallet is great. The handle fits your hand and has comfortable grip.

great price and works great
fiberglass handle and white rubber on hammer. White rubber does not mark the flooring when using it to install hardwood flooring like a black one.

it's good to put the flooring together but not very good for impacting the trigger
it is light and it doesn't have the annoying ring that comes with the Dewalt DWFP12569 flooring nailer. This ring is in between the rubber head and the metal head, this ring damages the flooring: I chose this mallet because of this. I'm removing a star because the metal head indent is very short, so you can only hit the tongue side of the planks. With other mallets with bigger indent you can hit both the tongue and the groove without damaging the flooring. Basically you can only install flooring with this tool when installing in one direction; sometimes this is not helpful because for special conditions you need to go the other way.I removed another star because it is so light that you have more probabilities of not releasing the air trigger completely and leave nails half way.At the end that is why this is a mallet and not a hammer, mallets should be heavy and this is not. So at the end I have to use two mallets, one heavy for using with the nailing gun and another for installing the floor (in one direction).

wood flooring install
well made product. Using it to install hardwood flooring. The rubber head works as advertised, no marks or dents on the wood while ponding it into place. Happy with the purchase.

Love the hammer , white end sucks
I love the fiberglass handle but the white rubber end is WAY to hard . When I hit the oak flooring it chips at least 90% of the boards . I would like a rubber black end but I cant find them . Love the hammer , hate the end . I cant really use it the way it is .

Not a good product
I have tried this malett for the first time .The rubber part came off on the first job. Terrible product. I would recommend Bostich. A bit more expensive but worth it
