I guess I misunderstood the description of this item. I got it today and I was expecting magnets to run along the side of shades as well as the top, to offer a more secure fit. The magnets only run along the top of the shades, however, and they hang down like a curtain. Just so you know, the instructions say 10 magnets, but the description says 5. It's 5 magnets, as far as I can tell. Regardless, the quality of the materials is really good and I was able to make them work by adding extra magnets. How can you argue at this price? I have a Honda Fit, and they were a perfect size for my back windows. Anything larger and I don't think they would have covered the whole window, just FYI.

They don't always stay in place. I usually forget to set them up before driving which can be hard if I wanted to put them later on so it's easy to forget about them

Cheap shades that work. The magnets are small cubes, about 1/2 inch long by 1/8x1/8, they have good holding strength. However, the edge piping is weak, the weaving will start to open up after the shade is pulled a few times; which means that the magnets will start to come out, causing a potential choking hazard.

I love that these block the sun, but still allow you to see. I also love how easy they are to use.

Don’t waste your money, and avoid yourself a headache, at first I was super happy to get this widow shades, I did the correct and easy installation, I didn’t notice that one of the magnets was loose and literally cracked my window on my passenger car.

I live in Texas and the summers are brutally hot. I bought these hoping they would help keep the sun and heat out while on a 5 hour trip through the state. These actually worked and helped tremendously. Kept the heat out and minimized the sunburn.

Yes, the craftsmanship is crap .

I work construction and eat my lunch in my rig. The hot Colorado sun bakes me and these have really helped. Great product and easy to use.
