Quality and Works Well
Worked right out of the box. I crossed-checked against some Boveda packs and also my hygrometer for the house and it’s at least within 1%, if not right on. The hygrometer that came with my humidor was poor quality and never worked properly. This hygrometer reacts fairly quickly and shows how the humidity levels begin to drop when the humidor lid is open too long. I can see where it could be difficult to read in some lighting conditions but never gives me a problem in the upper portion of my humidor.I needed something to ensure my cigar storage was at the proper humidity and this did the trick nicely!

Very nice
My humidor came with a basic run of the mill hygrometer. I updated to this one because it seemed like it would work better (per reviews). I am especially thrilled that it’s pre-calibrated and has number and color indicators for optimal temps. Hopefully, I can keep it within optimal range easier now.

Head on is pretty much impossible as you'll see all sorts of digital ...
The hygrometer itself works perfectly and just as advertised. I used used a Xikar Humidity Bead Gel Jar to test the calibration and it was perfectly calibrated already, after about an hour in a ziplock bag with the gel jar it read 70% which is what the Xikar Jar listed humidity would read. I left it in the bag overnight just to be sure and it continued to read a solid 70%. After that i added it to my humidor and got a solid reading of 68%. The only reason i gave the hygrometer 4 stars vice 5 is because it is true (the other reviews) it is very difficult to read if you're not viewing it from an angle (you won't have this problem if you have it mounted to the top-opening lid, mine is a glass case which is why i can't lid mount). Head on is pretty much impossible as you'll see all sorts of digital lines. Also of note... I thought it had to be calibrated because i was mistaking the bottom temperature gauge for a humidity gauge, but upon further inspection i realized i was an idiot and totally missed the humidity reading line which points to the humidity level. Good buy, for an out-of-the-box ready, accurate, and aesthetically appealing hygrometer.

Great instrument!! Easy to read and mine was accurate right out of the box!
The display is wonderful. The digital display of an analog meter is super easy to read, especially with the green and red color coding. The needle moves up or down in 1% increments. I calibrated it using sea salt and it was off by only 1%.For calibration most reviewers recommend using a bottle cap to hold your salt and placing everything in a Ziploc bag. In my opinion using a bottle cap is a good way to ruin your instrument because it's too easy to spill the contents. Here is how I do it:Put 1/2 cup of sea salt (do not use iodized salt or Himalayan salt) into a coffee cup. Sea salt is pure NaCl with nothing else in it. Add water while stirring until the mixture looks like wet sand at the beach. This will be less than 1/4 cup water. Place coffee cup and hygrometer into a 1 gallon resealable ZipLoc or other air tight bag. I like to suck out most of the air just before the seal is complete in order to decrease the air volume in the bag. This makes for a faster calibration and using a cup means the salt mix isn't going to tip over on you. After 4 to 6 hours the salty air in the bag causes humidity to reach exactly 75%. I do not know why that is, it's just the way the science works. The hygrometer is super easy to calibrate, using included instructions. It adjusts up or down in 1% steps, up to 6% either way. It's best to calibrate the instrument right in the bag, before you open it up. it only takes a few seconds and is easily done right through the bag by holding one button down and pressing another button. The thermometer function appears to be dead on as well. Mine read 73.4 degrees F. I shot the gauge with my laser guided infra-red temperature probe and got a reading of 73 degrees.

Accuracy is a bit off
Had to adjust to the max to get close to RH. Still showing 2% lower but, good enough. Wouldn’t purchase again.

Works great
Bought three for my music rooms. Give it a day or two to stabilize. The three had slightly different readings until they became stable after a couple days, now they are all accurate and reliable.

Good, small Hygrometer
I have three of these now. I use them to monitor the humidity in my house and art studio. They are a great addition for using my two room humidifiers in the winter when our central A/C dries out the air. On days it doesn't run so much, I can immediately tell when the humidity has gone up to where I like it and can turn off the humidifiers. In summer, I use one in the art studio to actually help me lower the humidity. It seems my new air conditioner is not taking out as much humidity and I am using a de-humidifier along with the A/C! Hate to have to do that, but I don't want the humidity getting too much for the paintings or my comic book collection. I'm not really using them for the temperature, but it is nice to have. They are small, but seem easy enough to read. I have not tried to calibrate them since, for what I am using them for, they don't have to be perfect.

It worked for me--too bad for others
I did not have the problems that others had in the comments/reviews. Mine worked flawlessly, I read the instructions and it has been 2 weeks. It comes calibrated from factory, but I still calibrated it with a Boveda two-way humidity control pouch (sold on Amazon as well) enclosed in a glass jar overnight with this Cigar Oasis Caliber 4R inside the jar with the Boveda.

Works well but factory cailibration was way off
It tracks humidity and temperature well. However, mine was 6% off the actual humidity in my wineador. Easy to fix but I question if all of these are factory calibrated like they claim.

Great product
Off by 1% out of the box, calibration with the built in calibration function was pretty easy. I really like the max/min values, so I know if my humidor is ever going out of range.
