This is a really good buy - surprisingly good. It's a HUGE bag of treats for under $8 bucks and every dog I have ever had just loves them. Highly recommended for training or for hiding in special toys to keep your dog occupied. I am fostering a border collie pit mix. I'm not kidding - this dog will only go in his crate for THIS treat...not even his kong filled with peanut butter get him in there. So yeah, these treats were a huge help to me because they were literally the only way I could coerce him in there for crate training. I know some people are particular about what they feed their dogs. I can't speak to the quality of ingredients other than that they don't upset my dog's digestion or bowl movements...and they're produced in Topeka, Kansas - which I find reassuring for some reason. These treats do contain wheat, soy, corn, corn SYRUP, sugar, and a few other things diet-particular people don't like to feed their dogs these days, but hey...it's a treat, not the main course. It also has beef and bacon...some food dyes, but...yeah, great treats and great deal.

Now the “flavor” rating of 5 stars is based on my 2 Chis going gaga when they just see the bag (well, one as the other is blind — but she knows the sound the bag makes & gets quite excited), as I’ve never tasted them. ;)My dogs love these as much as high priced “jerky” treats & these are a lot cheaper. I know the other (like Milo’s) are better for them so I give them those sometimes but these are loved by my dogs so this is their main treat.I find that the thicker, chunky cut ones they like too, but not as much as these bacon flavored ones.

My dog Oscar love-loves these treats! When I adopted him from a rescue, as we were leaving they showed me the bag and told me how much he loved them. I'd never heard of the brand and asked where they got them - they said Menards. I don't shop there often and there isn't a Menards in my town so I looked to Amazon. Surprisingly they had them and sold them directly which I like instead of a 3rd party...and they were at a great price. I was a bit leary as I would have bought something from Petsmart that was probably a lot more costly BUT I wanted him to have something familiar since he was going to a new home. I AM SO GLAD I TOOK THE CHANCE on something new. These treats smell amazing and they're the absolute best part of his day. We're on our second bag already!

They're probably not the healthiest treats, but a little bit now and then makes my little rescue dogs very happy! It's a very good price, but be warned that you should open the bag and divide the treats into smaller zippered sandwich bags and seal them well. If you keep opening this big bag to give a treat or two a day, they will get dried out long before you're able to use them up. Putting them in separate bags and keeping them out of direct sunlight will keep them fresh until you need them, and the zippers on the storage bags will probably be more reliable than the one that comes on this bag.

My 15 year old dog LOVES bacon, however the Beggin Treats give give her the 💩💩💩.I have been giving her these for years. They are 💩 treats. They also cost considerably less. The Beggin Treats feel a little greasy and I think that's what causes the digestive issues. Sometime the cheep stuff isn't any good. Canine Carry-Outs is better than the big brand. You can try a little bag for just a dollar. Give It A Try!

If you are looking for a good treat that is priced right, these are what you are looking for! My dog is a BIG dog! I thought these might be to small for her but they are chunkier than what I thought. She loves them! This sized bag lasts a little over a week ( giving 4-6 chunks daily). It is priced right for the amount you get. These are good for all sized dogs as I give them to our Chihuahua also. He has no problem eating them!
