Let There Be Blood track

The debut album from Exodus included timeless songs like 'Strike of the Beast" and the title track "Bonded by Blood". The production, however was lacking. Most Metal albums from that time period had poor production. With the equipment of the day, producers had difficulty recreating the power of a metal band in a recording. It's nice to hear these songs done on high tech equipment and with modern recording techniques. Rob Dukes did a great job, and I feel if Paul were alive today, he'd love it.

bonded by blood rerecorded bloody heavy as all hell,but no bayloff well get another lesson in violence for you baylofff fix that is a brutally heavy live cd that is allmost clean enough to think it's a studio album except the crowd and paul bayloffs off the wall rambings and storys that you must have.let there be blood is shockingly close to the original wth rob dukes on vox his sound not far from bayloff but not a sound alike to paul but he is not zetro's ghost either but he does a excellent job undating the rebirthing of this 20 plus year old classic cd tracks bringing BBB to the current sound much like testament did with first stike is still deadly cd.many band tour playing thier classic albums but i wish somemore of these thrash bands would rerecord their older early cd to refresh and undate their classic early albums.slayer-show no mercy/hell awaits- /overkill-feel the firetaking over- anthrax -fistful of metal - / metallica- killem all,testament- the new order- /dark angel- we have arrived, megadeth killing is my business,ect....

Hierbei handelt es sich um die Neuaufnahme des Thrash-Meisterwerks Bonded by Blood Von 1985. Auch in originaler Fassung gehört dieses Album wohl zum Besten was es im Thrash Metal gibt!! Mit der Neuaufnahme im Jahr 2008 legten Exodus nochmal eine Schippe drauf. Die 10 Stücke kommen mit neuem, druckvollen Sound daher, was die Platte nochmal fetter macht und auf ein noch höheres Level hebt! Old school Thrashmetal mit modernem Sound! Klare Kaufempfehlung für alle Thrasher!

米国カリフォルニア出身。ベイエリア・スラッシュの代表的バンド、Exodusが2008年に出した作品です。1985年に出た彼らの記念すべきデビュー作「Bonded by Blood」を現在のメンバー、機材、演奏技術でまるごと再収録したものです。他にも、TestamentやAnthrax、ドイツのSodomやDestructionといったバンドが初期曲の再録アルバムを出したり、Megadethが初期～中期の一連のアルバムをリマスターしたりと、この時期はそうした動きがスラッシュ系バンドの間で顕著だった印象があります。当時からのメンバーは今やゲイリー・ホルトとトム・ハンティングの2名のみですが、まあそこはさほど問題ではありません。ロブ・デュークスのヴォーカルも、ポール・バーロフのヴォーカルラインに敬意を払いながらも獰猛かつ凶悪。彼らのデビュー作はスラッシュ氏に残る名盤とされていますし、私もそれに異論はありません。情熱や初期衝動は並みのバンドでは太刀打ちできない凄まじさです。その衝撃のデビュー作が、発売から20数年の時を経て、さらに鋭く、凶暴に生まれ変わったのが本作です！　ジャケットの「天使と悪魔のシャム双生児」というコンセプトもより明確に分かり易くなっています。キーがちょっと下がっていたり、ソロが若干変わったりしていますが、ほぼ完コピに近い感じ。余計なアレンジはしないこの潔さもいいですね。ゼロから作り上げた1stアルバムと、それを再録したこのアルバム。作品としての歴史的価値は圧倒的に前者の方が上でしょう。しかしその1stの曲を現在の音質で再現したらどうなるかという点では、本作の存在意義も十二分にあります。ザクザクと刻まれるベイエリア・クランチを存分に堪能できますし、齢を重ねてもなおスラッシュ界の最前線を疾走する、彼らの本気を見た思いです。

元のアルバムが嫌いというより80年代らへん独特のレコーディング音があまり好きではなく聴いていませんでした。しかしレコーディングし直したものがあると知りかってみるとこれがまた素晴らしい。全てが迫力ある音に生まれ変わっており大変ききやすい！！exodusはこんなに素晴らしかったのかと認識させられました。
