The media could not be loaded.  My first Steel Tongue Drum! With all that's going on in the World, I decided to start collecting and learning more musical instruments to entertain myself. This oneis on the smaller side and has been on my list for a while, I bought it on a late night splurge. It can be played with two rubber mallets, or it has rubber rings that you can wear and hit it to make the sounds. I find it almost meditative at times, but following the included instruction booklet you can play songs like Happy Birthday. I think anyone could make enjoyable sounds out of this right away, and with the included numbers on each tongue even surprise the family with some tunes. I'm very pleased with this purchase, while it did not come with an elaborate carrying case other than a small bag, I'm going to make my own special one.

there is such an ancient, calming sound to this tongue drum. well made and relaxing. song book , bag, and mallets, with additional strike plates. easy to find other tabs onlinebag is good because its easy to take around. the drum alloy is well made so its not as if it would get damaged. its just cool
