I bought this pot to replace a smaller one that I had used for years but unfortunately dropped and damaged the handles. I waited quite some time to submit a review but this pot is just wonderful. It cooks evenly, washes up beautifully and although larger than my other one, the bigger size allows me to cook a small pot of tomato sauce using a 28 ounce can. To those reviewers who had staining issues, all I can say is that I usually put some soap and water in the pot and let it rest for 10 minutes and it cleans up as good as new. I follow that rule with all my stainless steel cookery and have no problems.

I received my four quart pot today and I have a question about the lid. There is a dent on the inside rim. Is it supposed to be a steam vent?,or is it a flaw? Does not look efficient as a vent.

So I rated this 4 stars as I was sure that the handles were safe w/o using mitts, but it's only the lid handle that is that safe. I still love the pot, the markings inside are helpful, steam vent in lid works great, it is easy to clean - so still happy I purchased it. But I could not give it a 5.

I have been looking for a small pan with double loop handles for a long time. I am elderly with arthritis in my fingers and handles are not easy to handle. It will be used every day. I take the pan from the stove to the table, and it keeps the food warm longer than a bowl. I also use it on an induction hot plate. I wish that a whole set of these loop handled pots and pans and skillets were available. I had to do a lot of shopping to get these. No big handles works really super on the table. Thank you, GREAT PAN.

I've had the pot for a year and a half and it looks new! Look at the picture and it's a pot that I often use,
