First let me say this review is a bit premature but my excitement from the first testing prompted me to write this. I use a F.S. (food saver) vacuum sealer and have usually used their bags and rolls and they are $$$What I've done so far1) Measured the thickness of material of the smooth side of both products using a micrometer and found the difference is in the 4th decimal place. That being said I found no difference in the thickness in the smooth side.2) Inspected the embossed side and found this product to have a more pronounced embossing compared to F.S. so it would measure thicker. I am assuming both sides of the bag are made from the same material the peaks and valleys from the embossing makes that side measure thicker3) Vacuum sealed some items and put them in the freezer. This products material quickly pulled a good strong vacuum and a solid seal telling me the material was of good qualityI will update this review after a couple weeks to see if the vacuum holds. Past experience taught me that even though the vacuum sealer worked well the manufactured seal on the sides and defects in the material can cause vacuum leaks over time. But so far so good I am more than pleased with this productUpdate: It's been a week since the test to evaluate vacuum holding and I am pleased to say the bags are as tightly sealed as the day I put them in the freezer. I can highly recommend this product with confidence

The product shipped and arrived on time. I was very impressed with the quality of these bags. Sometimes when buying off label the bags quality are not up to snuff. As one can see in the pic I sealed a lot of non traditional things for a cooler and they worked great. I would highly recommend. These for any one with a space saver. Note they did not fit in my machine holder area but that was not a big deal because I precut so many bags ahead of time before sealing them. I would say these are more rugid then other bags I have bought.

Well, when you're stuck at home with a pandemic, what do you do but bulk up and try to save money. I've had a vacuum sealer for a while, but I always found that the bags were so expensive at the store. I bought them here before, but still thought they were expensive. Decided to give the roles a shot, and glad I did. I'm simply able to enroll what I need, cut it, and I'm good to go. Actually, since I got two rolls, I took one and cut all 14 in bags out of the entire world. That way, whenever I need one, just grab it and I'm good to go. That's the most common size that I use anyway. As you can see, vacuums right up, even with liquid in them. Not a single problem in freezing, and no air in. Very glad that I got these, and actually mark them as a favorite now. My dad actually decided to get some, and he is loving them to for all the venison.

The bags are of fine quality and quantity for the price, but the roll is far too thick to fit into my sealer's roll bay. (see photos, first one shows my 'normal' roll nestled into the roll bay; the second shows this roll and how it's too wide for the bay).Perhaps where the description reads 'fits all machines' they mean the sealing part, and not the storage area?I'll have to unroll and cut them outside of the machine, and store the rolls separately.Since I had planned to swap out between the 11" rolls and the 8" as required, that's not a huge deal, but being able to pull from within the sealer and use the cutter would have been convenient when I'm packaging a lot of stuff for the freezer.So good bags, but don't expect to be able to store them inside the machine until you've used a good half or more of the roll.

I purchased these to go with my new vacuum sealer machine after I ran out of my trial bags that came with it and was looking to buy in bulk.The fact that this came as a bulk pack of two 50' rolls makes it a great value and I no longer have to worry about running out of bags any time soon.Update: although these bags started off great, I've recently been experiencing issues with them sealing properly. It will start out as if the bags will seal and then will immediately lose the vacuum pressure as if there were holes in the bag.

Wasting food is one of my pet peeves so we always have packed freezers. I'd been a little lazy using zipper close bags for leftover items to go in the freezer. Besides being easy, I've also been reluctant to use our expensive name brand vacuum bags for freezer items since it seems that as soon as it gets frozen we're reaching in the freezer to use that food within days and there goes another expensive bag... Well, no more, these bag rolls are plentiful and cost very little for the length. The pattern side of the bags stretch and suction to the food just like the name brand ones and the seals are holding strong. I had no problem getting these to vacuum either. The raspberry, rhubarb, and zucchini plants are all done now so we're preserving what we can and I can't wait for yummy zuch bread and maybe a raspberry rhubarb wine this winter!
