This brush is exactly what I wanted. It is made in Germany, and so a bit more expensive than brushes made in China. I have bought brushes made in China, and they start to fall apart within months. This German brush just keeps on going. In addition, although brushes from China purport to be boar bristle, in fact you do not know if animals used in Chinese products were not made to suffer in horrible circumstances. I'll never forget seeing on TV a film from China where a man tied a dog to a fence and started to SKIN IT ALIVE!! And, dogs being dogs, it wagged its tail while this man started to peel the skin from its scalp. Don't buy animal products from China.
