I am so amazed how well it is made. Looks great and fits perfectly. It didn't cost anymore than plastic ones.

Works like a charm

I used it on a 59 dodge. It is far superior to the traditional plastic ones for almost the same price. You will need to devise your own little pick up tube in the tank so that when the engine cools down it draws the coolant back to the radiator, or maybe mine just come without one, but I didnt mind for the price. Drill a 5/16 in. hole thru the tank fitting, and insert a 5 inch piece of copper tubing, after tightening fitting, use your finger thru the tank cap and bend tubing down to bottom of tank, no big deal. Looks dang good too.

As delivered, it will not work as both barb fittings are at the top of the tank. No way for the coolant to siphon back to the radiator as it cools. I put one fitting in the bottom side hole and the hose goes to the radiator cap neck. I put the other barb fitting on the other side of the tank and use it as an overflow and vent. I also removed all of the fittings and plugs and put ARP high temp sealant on the threads. The fittings and threaded holes are not machined or designed to use an o-ring. Took the advice of several reviews.Other than this, it appears to be well made and looks good. Oh, the drain plug is not magnetic either.

I needed power steering reservoir that was not too tall, so I could mount it high enough in the engine compartment to be higher than the pump. This tank had the right dimensions. I ordered AN6 to M14 x 1.5 / AN10 to M14 x 1.5 adapters to attach the hoses and 3 x M14x1.5mm Oil Drain Plugs to fill the extra ports (all available from Amazon). I made a bracket out of aluminum to mount the tank on the fender well and drilled a 1/16" vent hole in the cap. It turned out pretty well. The only thing I do not like about the tank is that it has a bead blasted finish. I wish that it had a polished finish or at least natural, so I could polish it myself.
