Easy Uniform Patty Maker
I have bought 3 different sizes of these in an attempt to make sausage patties for making breakfast sausages. The first was too small so I bought a bigger one which was too big and thirdly I bought this size which makes 1/4 pound burgers. They all work and it is easy to make uniform patties of ground beef or sausage. However, this size makes small THICK patties and I am still looking for one that would make larger diameter THIN patties. Otherwise, it is a clever, useful tool for making multiple patties of uniform size. Once frozen they release easily and can be stored in freezer bags if you want to have lots on hand. They wash clean easily and work as claimed.

So far so good. We just froze our first batch of hamburger ...
So far so good.We just froze our first batch of hamburger meat and it worked just fine.We don't leave the meat in the press until we are ready to use them. Instead, we freeze them for about 12 hours or so and remove and place them in zip lock bags and place them in the freezer. This frees up the press for more cycles. Maybe the idea is to use it to freeze the meat into shape and remove them as soon as possible. Anyway, works great for us and we have no problem with the product. For the folks that are complaining about the press ripping when they try to separate the two halves, maybe you should give the press a chance to warm up a little before you start to rip and tear. Be gentle.......Just sayin.

It is useful
I like this product because you can thaw and grind up old frozen meat and turn it into hamburgers, or buy in bulk and make the patties and freeze. My problem is that its big and bulky for my little freezer. I purchased two and really only needed one. I freeze the meat right in the silicone pockets and it stays. after the patties freeze I place them in smaller bags. each patty is just the right portion of meat for one which convenient when only cooking for one.

LOVE using this
This is an awesome product. I love using it. In the past I have made and shaped hamburgers by hand so they were never the same size. Then I would put them on wax paper and put in plastic bags in the freezer. It was always hard to unwrap them from the wax paper to use. With this product I put the meat into the mold and push the top on and put into the freezer. Wait an hour or so and remove them very easily and put into plastic bags so I can put the rest of my hamburger meat into the mold. They pop out easily and don't stick together. LOVE IT

It performs as expected
This thing is what it says it is. I only which the burgers were a little bigger, I would give up quantity for size. But overall I am happy with the item and would buy again.

Multi-purpose
This works great for making burger patties. I like having individual patties in the freezer for a quick burger and this makes it super simple. They are a little small around, so thawing and flattening before you cook them is helpful, but not necessary. I also recently discovered that they are the perfect size for making breakfast egg patties to go on English muffins. Just fill each hole of the lid with a scrambled egg mixture and pop into the oven.

Where has this been my whole life?!
I wish they started making these years ago. I've always preferred burgers where you make the patty yourself but it took me too long to get them to look good. This saves me so much time and is really easy to use. After putting the top lid on I used a rolling pin to smooth it out just to make sure they were even. They popped right out after they were frozen and I put the burgers in the freezer with some wax paper in between each patty so I can make more patties.

This was ok
This burger press seems like a terrific idea and there was lots I liked about it. I made some awesome gourmet burgers and stored them in the freezer. The issue I had was these 1/4 pound burgers were too small and too fat...my husband called them hockey pucks. What I would like to see is 1/4 pound burgers in one press so that they are bigger and thinner. The concept is great but could use some tweaking.
