Use it to de-bone chickens, doing pretty good job, strong cut

It works BUT couple times into a cut, the nut and bolt that hold the scissors keep loosening and then won't cut anyone. You then have to tighten it up before can cut again. Then repeat same procedure over and over many times to finish cutting a chicken. Wish I am not out of the return window.

These do what they were purchased for. Haven't checked out their other cutting but cutting up poultry is a snap. I am a retired career chef and wondered where these have been my whole career. My only complaint is after several chickens being cut up my hands began to get sore and I had to take a break. Great looking product, works well, shipping as promised. Can't ask for more

Makes really fast work of spatchcocking a chicken. Comfortable handles allow you to bear down to get through the bones quickly. Good and sharp. Only complaint is close to the pivot point the two blades aren't in close contact with each other so it doesn't cut skin back there, instead the skin passes between the blades. Need to use the 2 inches starting at the tip for skin, and that works fine. The whole length works great cutting through ribs.

I've recently got into cooking birds whole spatchcock style and I really needed a good pair of scissors. I already had a set but I always needed up hurting my hands and fingers with their terrible shape, no grip support, and awful cutting power.These have none of the problems the old ones did. My fingers don't slip, don't get pinched, and cut much more easily through the rib bones. They are extremely sharp as well and will cut and not too the skin.I would highly recommend these to anyone cutting into a chicken or turkey. Also as a side note, I loved the box it came in, made it feel like a very premium product.

Hard time trying to grip the handles. I have small hands, they were to far apartfor me, perfect for spouses hands.

This Scissor is very nice looking and it's sharp, it looks like it's going to last a very long time, it handles nice as well. What i did not like about it i was very surprised that it does not cut chicken skin. When i try cutting the chicken skin my reaction was ha? i can't believe it.

I have used this item to cut up the whole chicken and duck, including the bones. The curve shape of the blades is just perfect design for this, and it handled all of the bones with great ease.I have also used it to cut open lobsters (both boiled and raw), and remove meat from a crab. We bought these as our son borrowed our Oxo poultry, shears. These shears are sharp and cut a chicken well. However I gave them 4* because, compared to the Oxo shears, the handles aren’t as comfortable and you can’t separate the blades for washing.

I didn't expect much when purchasing these shears. I just wanted to separate the tools for cutting raw and cooked meat. This pair is for raw. I was pleasantly surprise how they could cut through lamb ribs besides poultry. Also, they are dishwasher safe. I have tested it.

These poultry shears are good for the job, they do exactly what I expect them to do, cut through a chicken without effort.
