A complex, thoughtful memoir
I really, really like this memoir. What Hannah Baer has done here (or so I thought while reading) is she has reached into specifically my soul and written a memoir about specifically my experiences. Obviously this isn't *true*; "trans girl suicide museum" is an intimate look into a stage of Baer's life, her experiences, her transition -- and yet, it's astonishing how such a personal work can feel so magnetic, so relatable. I wonder if other trans girls will feel the same, will relate so strongly to the titular metaphorical museum. Baer is, like me, a white transgender girl from a relatively privileged background (who, unlike me, does a lot of K) and perhaps, if you don't belong to that small group, her story won't resonate with you as strongly. But I can only speak for myself, and to me, "tgsm" is the best, most moving, most personal memoir I've read in years.

Amazing
An intense and thoughtful blend of diary, philosophy, and social commentary. I came away from it changed somehow. It's profound how reading allows one to inhabit the interiority of another

A seminal work of traplit.
This book is like a haul video of all the accumulated baggage and joys of being a transgender, and it dazzles in the light glow of the author’s ketamine usage and brilliance. Baer is like the hot transgender hunter thompson this generation needs to save us from cisgendered level 2 assimilationist hell. must read.
