Smart Parts 5" Lift Kit - Fits EZ-GO EZ GO Gas Powered 1980-1994

Description is a little confusing because it says it works for gas and then in the lower description it says electric only. We have an ‘84 gas EZGo Marathon and, while my husband had to do some modification to the front, it went on pretty smoothly. The directions in the box look like they’ve been copied 100x over so they’re hard to read but if you know what you’re doing they don’t matter. Over all everything went on well, we’ll see how it all works when the new 22” tires come in.

This lift is nice but there is a few things that the company fails to mention that you will need to change like your steering linkage that goes to the passenger side from the center steering shaft the linkage should be moved to the top of the bracket also you will need to do something about where your air filter hooks up it pinches the hose off and last thing is that you will have to use the 4 short bolts on the front lift blocks the long bolts won’t line up do to the front axle

Put this lift on my 91 ezgo was on in about an hour pretty straight forward instructions .. lifted it enough to fit 22 inch wheels

Overall good lift kit. A couple flaws, rear shock extenders seem to add a pivot point to the rear shocks, we will see how they work over time. Front bolts hard to get it, had to flip around the front inners as nuts wouldn't fit on bottom. Overall good kit for the price and would recommend. About 2-3 hours to install total, had to take rear wheels off to get to shock bolts. Be careful lowering down rear axle after unbolted as my fuel line came undone to motor.

You will need a spring compressor for the rear springs. Spacers for rear shock bracket too long for 93 Marathon. Other than that, instructions handy and went on as instructed. Quick delivery!

Good kit but the rear shock extenders won’t work. You can’t add 2 pivot points to a shock mount. Longer shocks is a must.

A tube sock would've been a better shipping vessel. Lift kit is great value for the money. Lifted my rear coil spring Marathon based Western Rolls Royce buggy up nice for new wheels and tires. The shipping envelope was a joke tho. The bag arrived with a fist sized hole in it. One rear spring cup and most of the hardware was missing. I never contacted the seller but I'm sure they would have made things right as I've never had a problem with Amazon sellers. I instead called a buddy and came up with replacement and I used my own hardware. The kit did include installation steps but in my opinion the below average mechanically inclined customers may require additional info. I would still recommend this kit for the value, and fitment as well as fast shipping.

I have a 1993 E-Z-Go golf cart gas bought this lift kit easy to install took about one hour not all parts showed up the first time but quick delivery can fit 26 inch ATV tires with this lift kit but need to trim fenders with a grinder

Great kit for the money. I modified/wedged the front blocks to get more clearance in the front. Excellent!

Good thing there was a picture on the website on what was to come with the kit as the box had seen better days.
