Philosophical, Ideological, and Theoretical Perspectives on Education 2nd Edition

I liked this book a lot. It contains good and rich content about education. However, you only allow 2 downloads. They are very few. You should increase the number of allowed downloads.

I used this textbook to teach a Philosophy course and it was much easier to read than other philosophy textbooks I had used in the past.

I used this book in a kindle format and was hesitant at first but it is easy to manage and make notes with highlighting marks.

The book cover was just a little crunched up but I think that may have been from shipping. Otherwise, it was great and came in the time frame I needed.

I had to get this book for my class. While it was informative it was one of the most annoying textbooks I've ever read. I had the hardest time keeping all the different theories and philosophers straight. It took me about 6 minutes a page because it's written in such a convoluted way. When I was just trying to skim it to find information it was difficult because it gave long and convoluted explanations and wouldn't get right to the point. Also I got this as an ebook on Kindle and then my kindle broke so I couldn't search for a keyword. This book presents the philosophies, ideologies, and theories on teaching and gives a lot of background info but it's too wordy. I spent hours reading a chapter and would still be confused as to the philosophy it was explaining.

The book is thorough. It is not exciting reading, but it is easy to understand.

The book was just what I needed for my grad class, and it was in great shape when it arrived.
