This review is for the waterproof touch light and the ceiling lightTouch light (Still 5 stars. Love it!)I have a walk-in storage closet in my garage where there is no light. I have put a light in there before, but I admit I always forget to turn it off - thus the battery is always run down. When I saw this light at a discounted price in exchange for my honest review, I decided to try it.First off, be aware that you will need 2 AA batteries (4 for the ceiling light) - they are not included. If you plan to mount it, you need screws and mollies too.The light itself is palm sized and can be either mounted or placed into a clip base where you can clip it where you want it. It comes out of either base with just a twist so you can move back and forth between the bases, or pull it out to use it as a flash light.My biggest concern when ordering this was light output as it did not state the lumens. It's not the brightest light on the planet, but perfectly adequate to light up the closet. I'd say it's as bright as a standard old school flashlight.The clip and ease of removing it from its holder makes it truly a marvelous little multi-tasker. The touch portion is very sensitive (good and bad here, for if you are using it as a flashlight it can accidently be turned off, or turns on/ off when you pick it up - a minor issue in my book because a second touch turns it back on). Furthermore, and the best part, it turns itself off when I forget to! I not only would buy this again, but I am thinking of buying a few more to use around the house.Ceiling light update (3 stars):As I said above, I was so impressed with the little touch light that I was going to buy more. Well it got swiped from the garage closet and is being used by the coffee/teapot (uff). So I decided to try the ceiling light since it has 12 LEDs vs one.I have it hanging from a nail in the wall at the same spot that the touch light was located. It is *much* bigger than the touch light (it is indeed the size of a ceiling light), and does light up the room more (the touch light is more focused whereas the ceiling light has a diffuser) *however* it is not terribly bright. The diffuser does its job a little too well. So, in sum, while more of the room is being lit, it is not being lit much brighter than the 1 LED touch light. After being so surprised and impressed by the light output on the touch light, I was disappointed here. It works fine to light up, say, a front door at night, and it is fine for lighting the garage closet it is in - but for a functional room, it is really not bright enough.The motion sensor is very responsive and turns off quickly when there is no movement. For the closet (and the forgetful person who uses the closet) this part is perfect.

I received this product at a discounted price in exchange for my honest review, and to be honest, I'm glad I only paid one dollar. It was easy to take apart in order to insert the batteries but aggravating in the extreme to try to get the battery cover back on. The entire device is only 4-5 inches wide, and the LED light itself is about 1/2 inch wide. That means a very bright light is coming out of a very small area. I bought it to light up a small half bath when needed at night. I often have migraines, and I also have balance problems, so I thought this would be preferable to turning on the overhead light. It does emit enough light for me to do what I need to do, but turning it on and off presents problems. The device seems to vary between overly sensitive (I barely bump it and it turns on/off) to not responsive (I have to press it more than once to get it to turn on/off). Since I have to look at the light to touch it, I feel as if I get blinded by the tiny, piercing LED bulb. I usually have dark spots floating across my vision after I use it. All in all, it seems to be a cheaply made product that is not suitable for my needs. It might work better in a garage or carport to light a path to the door.
