I used the leash for one month and the tape frayed and broke while in use. There are no screws to open the case but I was able to use twizzers to pull out the tape. Then I tied the ends together. This is definitely not sturdy. Hopefully I can use it for a while longer.Now the tape will not retract so the leash is completely useless.Apparently the seller is not interested enough to read the reviews. This leash should be replaced free of charge!!!!!

it's my third Retractable Leash, my first impression for this one is amazing, the cause is stronger than others and have better quality in general - parts, sewing, and fastenings.

So.... missed the return window by 14 days, and you KNOW what just happened right? Yup! You guessed it, I put the leash on my dog, he saw another dog.. lunged forward... and POP! The leash torn! NOT at the beginning, like coming loose from the handle... the actual MATERIAL Snapped!! My dog is approx 45 pounds.. no WAY this should have popped like this!!😳Super disappointed, I feel these were inferior materials and am LUCKY that my dog was bolting into the street 😡

I bought for my cats. One is about 16/17lbs and the other 12/13lbs. It's a great product, seems well built, works as advertised and has survived a spooked cat taking off across the yard (minor scratches and survived bouncing off sidewalk and tree). I wish I had a dog so that I wouldn't have to pull out the leash for my cat, but other than that, a solid product

I didn't expect to get much for the money but this little leash has held up pretty well to some serious misuse. It's been wrapped around the bike tire at speeds a couple of times and only frayed a little on the edge. It's been dropped and yanked out of my hand, skidded across concrete, and still keeps on working. We broke the D ring off almost immediately but other than that, it seems really sturdy and the button still locks and operates easily.

The button appears to be broken inside somewhere. It won’t lock and it rattles like there’s something inside that may be broken!

Very smooth retraction, button works well but I wish its is smaller. I walk two dogs at a time and bulkiness makes it harder to handle with one hand.

I wasn’t expecting much due to the price point, but this is a great and solid leash. Indeed heavy duty for small and medium size dogs. This was a great purchase and I strongly recommend to those who are looking for a lease for small to medium size dogs. This is is much better than the others that costs twice or more. You will not regret it.
