I live in a blizzard afflicted tundra during the winter. We get high winds (50+ mph), massive snowfalls (350+ inches), and it's normal enough here that we still have to get up in the mornings to wipe our car off and go to work, frostbite be darned.This thing holds up way better than I would have expected for such a budget-friendly product.Being a tiny woman who drives a large 4-wheel drive vehicle in the frozen hell that is where I live, I needed an extending arm, a brush, and a scraper, and being a college student, I didn't have the disposable income for the high quality ones the locals sell here. When I settled on this, I was amazed at what it held up to. Feet of snow glided off the roof and hood using the brush. Frosted glass was easily broken and scraped away with this thing. Fully extended, this thing locks in place and holds its own. Even repeatedly pushing on it while trying to scrape the out of reach portion of my windshield didn't warp this thing.The rigorous banging against ice has not put a dent in the plastic, the brush still shakes of cleanly and routinely clears the snow in seconds, and the product still folds up and down nice. The foam grips keep cold hands warm from the cold metal, and it even has a squeegee- a feature that has become indispensable when the wipers are still thawing and you have to get going.The only cautionary thing I have to say about this product is that under high winds, a fully extended scraper may bend, so it can't fold up and it's harder to put pressure on it. This happened to me in the middle of a violent snowstorm, but the product was STILL USABLE despite getting knocked around. When I got back home, I immediately purchased another one. A year in, and I am still using the second one and singing its praises. There are still absolutely zero signs of wear and it works like it did on day one.I highly recommend this product to anyone. The quality can't be beat, regardless of price. The fact that this product has a great price point makes it even better. Stop thinking about it and just do it, and while you're at it, grab a few more for friends and family. They will thank you later.

Not just for automobiles? We bought over a dozen of these to test-bed snow removal around aircraft engines and atop wings. The extendable handle works great for reaching across the wing or up onto the top of engine cowlings. We've been using the squeegee to remove deicing fluid from inlets to much success as well. These have worked great for an application they probably weren't intended.The only setback is the handle extension locking mechanism. A simple rubber compression washer to stop the extender from moving, but i have often seen the two pieces come apart and it is somewhat difficult to reinstall them together. But if you're aware of this limitation, it's a great tool for the price.

I'd buy this snow brush again if I needed one.

The brush itself is great and the length is great however even though I tighten it to stay longer it doesn't stay and keeps collapsing as I use it which is frustrating. Otherwise a great brush.

I like that this product was made in Canada instead of China but the quality is pretty bad. The locking mechanism for the telescope is too weak to stop it sliding or spinning, and the foam handle isn't attached in any way. It too slides and spins all over.Edit: Lowering my rating from 2 stars to 1 star. I've got to pack this in a box to return it, which is annoying enough given its length, but that's not the main reason why. I took this brush apart to see if I can fit it into a smaller box, and as a result got to look at the locking mechanism. It's far worse than I could have imagined. It's important to note that, in the pictures I've included, the tube you see is the outside tube. The other tube goes inside and is held in place by those incredibly thin plastic calipers. Notice the blue collar does not even come close to fitting the outer tube. So you've got an inner tube held in place by incredibly thin flimsy plastic calipers pressed down by a collar which is way too big. And now I've got to find an extra long box just to ship this trash back. Terrible product, don't even consider buying it.

EASY TO ORDER

this is the best i've had so far, but the ice thing on the end broke with heavy usage on some particularily tough ice.

Obviously since I ordered this after the season of snow was over, I haven't had a chance to use it, but it seems identical in every way to a brush I've had in the past which worked great (part of why I chose this one). I prefer this perpendicular format to the standard in-line because it allows the inclusion of a squeegee, which I use to completely clear every speck of snow from my windows, like a windshield wiper - particularly on all besides the windshield which don't HAVE wipers. It also telescopes so I can do the front and back from one side of the car.However, just in the time I took to transfer this one to the car, I had to lock and re-lock the telescoping part at least 3 times. Looks likely that similarly while using it I'll have to re-lock it over and over.

I just had the opportunity to use this brush and it works great. I was able to reach the top of my SUV easily with the telescopic feature. Really nice to have the squeegee on the other side of the brush. Super light and easy to use. I would highly recommend this brush to others

This is a nice long snow brush. Locking mechanism could use some work. Easily unlocks while clearing snow. Other than that, this is ideal for short people clearing off big vehicles.
