Love this cotton cover and waterproof liner. Note that this Lg 48x29 ended up being 41x23 after putting a foam pad in it. The loftier you stuff it, the smaller it gets. Waterproof liner zipper goes the entire length and is easy to pull over pad. But the cotton cover zipper begins/ends 2" in from each corner making it hard to stuff the pad inside. This is not in a crate so no worries about chewing. She only chewed bedding when locked up which is no longer necessary now that she has settled in.

Henry is 2 years old. Henry has "eaten" approximately 5 crate beds, despite being warned that he'll have to sleep on the cold, hard plastic floor of the crate. After approximately four months of having only the crate floor to lay on when kenneled, Henry was ready to try this pillow duvet. Whether it was the durable, thick material, or the comforting smell of mom and dad on the pillows inserted to the duvet, or perhaps even the fear of having to sleep on the plastic crate floor again, Henry seems to have changed his ways. He has not torn up the bed cover, he does not whine when kenneled and his sad pitiful puppy dog eyes are only noticed now when someone is not sharing their apple with him.

I bought the green canvas beds that fit 3 pillows. As described, it comes with a waterproof inner liner. We haven't had any accidents in that way, but I'm confident it works because I had to unzip it a little to let out some air.My dogs aren't interested in chewing on them like other beds we've owned that contain fluff. The material also seems to not collect as much hair as those other beds.I use little throw blankets on top and haven't had them very long to offer information about washing, but I think it will be much easier than those others.I think that despite the up front cost of this DIY bed, plus pillows (for me, it was 4 beds and 12 pillows), will be much more cost efficient than buying new beds every year.The fluffiness and comfort depends on what you put in it. Besides pillows, you can probably use old tshirts, blankets, towels, etc. too. But the main thing is that my dogs are comfortable when they sleep. I am definitely happy with these.

I have two large power chewers who have both torn up their crates before, and one of them used to eat every single bed I bought him before I started using these covers. I went through about half a dozen beds in the first 6 months I had a dog, and I have not had a single issue with these beds in the 18 months I have been using them. They are still in perfect condition even though my dogs sleep on them every single night and they are great for car trips. I bought five of the gray micro suede and both my dogs love them, the material is very soft and it is very quick to take off the outer cover to wash it if someone has an accident. These are the only beds I will continue to buy; the value, washability, and comfort have been well worth the price. It is also a great way to recycle old towels and blankets, and my dogs seem to find comfort that their beds smell like me. I cannot say enough good things about these beds, I have recommended them to several friends and family members and even shared the link in a few social media groups; I have also given these covers as gifts. I ironed on letters to some of the beds to spell out my dogs' names and it is much easier and cheaper than buying a $70 dog bed and paying $20 for personalization from one of the big retailers. I cannot rate the durability against chewing because my dogs have never tried, but the material stands up very well to claws and pawing, both my dogs knead their beds like dough and I have never seen a single tear.

I needed a cover for my dog's bed as the bed was not made of waterproof material. This product came with two (2) covers; a waterproof cover meant to be used internally and the outer cover which is not waterproof. This listing does not come with a bed (please read, folks; anyone who purchased this item thinking it came with a bed clearly did not read the description properly). The waterproof internal cover is indeed waterproof! Though the zipper is not waterproof, so if there are any liquids spilling over the zipper, it may leak inside.I purchased the Gray Microsuede in the Large (48" x 29") size.My dog's crate is a 42" L x 28.5" W x 30.4" H. I managed to stuff my dog's memory foam bed, which is 41" L x 26.75" W x 3" H, into the large cover but it is a very tight fit. It leads me to believe that the Large isn't actually 29" in width since my bed is much smaller than the cover. There is excess fabric at the ends since the bed is only 41" L in comparison to the cover's 48" L; this doesn't bother me. I managed to get the bed into the cover by folding the bed in half, stuffing it inside, and then trying to flatten it out as best as possible. It fits with a little bit of bowing up at the sides.The color is a true gray. The microsuede is very soft; I washed it in cold water and let it air tumble dry (I tested my bed in the cover before I washed it, so the ill-fitting is not due to washing shrinkage).My dog doesn't dig or chew on the bedding, so I cannot comment on the durability of the covers against that.

The waterproof cover crinkles and made my dog nervous at first, but I cut a 3 inch deep piece of memory foam to fit and she's adjusted. Now, I can wash the cover, wipe down the waterproof liner and she's good to go. Poor old girl has to go outside every two hours now. Recommend washing the denim cover before use.

The dog bed pillow cover worked ok for the first couple of weeks, its a great idea, but my dogs shredded it after the two week period,. I guess I was hoping for a stronger material in the product.

Wow, it takes alot to impress me... Seriously. But this cover quality is super and i love it. (Ballistic blue).Came with a great inner waterproof cover as well...better then ive ever seen (Almost like a thin rubber) chocolate brown.Has a nice brand name tag on it as well signifying pride. I recommend this product. I could use this outdoors without worry no problem. Scratch and tear resistent to my long sharp clawed american bulldog and shes huge. She wont lay on it though but shes super picky, oh well! I still recommend this!
