TEDCO Robot Bits

In the picture it shows a plastic-like case that the robot bits come in, and in another picture it shows the robots on a blue type of platform. The robots actually came in a cardboard container which wouldn't be effective to be re-used to keep the pieces in. I ended up using plastic pencil box because otherwise the parts would have gotten lost the first time they were played with. The parts attach with clear pieces which are also easy to lose. My 4 year old liked them and was able to assemble the robots and take them apart without much help from me, and this is a good toy for finite motor skills. Wish the packaging was accurate however.

Bought this for 5 year old's birthday. He has played with it for hours. He needed help inserting a few pieces but mostly could do it himself. His 2 1/2 year old sister loved it too but needed a lot of help building them. They both enjoyed playing with the robots after they were built. The robots stay together very well for play but are easy for them to take apart to rebuild.

My son loves to play with these but they are much smaller than I expected. I also didn't expect the piece connectors to be separate bits, I expected the pieces to have a built in locking system like Legos not joints you have to put on and keep track of.

My 2.5 year old LOVES this toy. But...I wish the pegs were already permanently inserted. It was difficult to take out and put back on for both my toddler and I so I had to superglue the pegs on the torsos so that it would be easier to switch the limbs and other parts around. Not to mention the pegs are transparent and tiny so they'll get lost very easily!

Cute item, however, one robot ended up with uneven legs (I guess due to a bad sorting), so it doesn't stand up, which makes it frustrating for my grandkids. Too bad extra parts weren't sent with the set, or at least all legs should have been the same size.

My son loved this toy. He spends so much time creating different kinds of robots. I ordered a separate box to keep them in b/c the box that was provided was not holding up.

A million tiny pieces, some don't even fit together. Had to use a rubber mallet to assemble some of the pieces. Do not get this if you think your child will sit and assemble themselves. I thought the figures would be much larger- they're only a few inches tall. I had a hard time assembling as an adult!

My 7 yr old loves robots and loves to build. So I thought this little gift would make his day when he flew in to visit me. It was ok. He built a couple of robots and somehow wasn't impressed. Not quite as fun as legos!
