Deer Large Antler Treat, 8-9"

My dog did not like this at first but she changed her mind and now chews on it all the time. I find them to be expensive, but thats not Amazon's fault. These are costly no matter where you purchase them. Amazon is less expensive.Durability, I have had it for well over 6 months and I have a German Shepherd. My Vet recommended this because I was giving her marrow bones and the vet said to stop because it was damaging her teeth. I gave her this and she enjoys chewing on it every night. They are quite tall and I had to put it between two items, she had a hard time holding on to it and chewing at the same time. It was too high. After a few chews it came down and she was able to put it between her paws and hold it there. Recommend this highly, expensive but last a long time.

My dog loves antlers. This one is nice, straight and long. Got on sale. Worth the money. Will buy again, but they last so long. No splinters!

Updated - The thin antler was only an issue for me. My dog is very happy! He sits on the couch gnawing away. There are no tiny chips left behind like with the elk antlers. These are much harder. I've never had such an aggressive chewer. He cant have any of the toys I've bought for other dogs. I'm so happy I found something he LOVES and it lasts for at least a little while. Well worth the price.(This is too small/thin for my GSD puppy. I bought it because it was harder than the elk antlers. I'm going back to the elk antlers.)

I have 2 Cane Corso that chew through everything. These last a long time, a couple of months and keeps them busy when they are bored. I take them away when not being used, this way they can move on to something else to occupy their time. I also have a Jack Russel that loves to steal them and bury them Grr. But I'll say the price is right for the size.

Our dog has a chewing addiction and usually tries to get toys or socks. This antler has helped A LOT to keep that stress down and to get her tired without putting her in danger. Over a year now and the antler has survived tough playing, no chipping of any kind. She lost it for a few days and we got another one, now she has 2 and we're thankful for it. It doesn't smell and it's very durable.

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! I have a 2 1/2 yr old lab who I have bought antlers for before. The previous purchases were from PetSmart or PetCo. In those cases, the antlers lasted several months each, just wearing down as she chewed them. This is the first time buying them from this company and I won't waste my money again. The package that came was very large- I told my daughter to feel free to open it and give it to our dog. BIG MISTAKE!! I came in the room 30 minutes later and saw the dog with something and quickly took it from her- it was the antler. Now its supposed to be 8"-9" long but what I took out of her mouth was not that long at all, maybe 6 1/2". Also, within that short time period, THE ANTLER ALREADY WAS BREAKING APART!!! I was completely astonished! The end she was chewing on was already open to the marrow and according to my daughter, she figured about and inch was gone. There is no reason in that time frame that my dog should have been able to chew through the antler! Especially because some of the time she was walking around holding it . I have NEVER PURCHASED SUCH POOR QUALITY in an antler! The thickness was minimal as well maybe 1 1/2" thick! I am so disappointed and glad I only ordered 1 of them to be annoyed about. Save your money and find another source for antlers because this one is certainly not it. It came too small and is too soft making it way too dangerous for even a moderate chewer! The pieces that were coming off it made me soo nervous!

I bought a couple of these for my dog during Black Friday. I have a medium size, Irish setter, 45 lbs. They came in a package together with a tag around them. They were both large and seem to be pretty long lasting. My dog chews bones very fast. My dog really likes the antlers, they have a small side and a larger side. I highly suggest! They seem like good quality bones and don’t have pieces that break off.

My dog is the definition of an aggressive chewer, a Doberman/pitt mix. I rated 3 stars because he absolutely loved it. Loved it so much it only lasted him about 25-30mins. Mind you hes only 65lbs. He was easily able to break pieces off of it. The other deer antler we got from a store lasted him months. Thought this would be a good alternative since it was cheaper by a few bucks but turns out i was wrong.
