SkinGripz"TAC II" 1911 Grips (Full Size-Grey)

these grips were more than i expected, when i first ordered them i thought they were going to be plastic but i was pleased to find out they were made from wood when i got them. they of corse fit to my para expert 1911perfectly and the grey color looks great on a black gun. the only thing i will say is if you have small hands you may not like them because they are a bit thicker than normal. but all in all it is a great product and i would reccomend them.

i Bought the TAC II grips for my Taurus 1911. When i purchased them the picture was black...thought that was what i was getting. Later noticed that the put "Grey" in parenthesis. But that is not the reason for the low rating....my fault for not reading and just relying on the pictures. The low rating is for the fit and material of the the grips. i had to modify for the right side for the ambi safety, the grips are quite a bit larger than stock and the material is very soft. If you have very large hands then the grip width may not be an issue for you. I have large hands but the grips make them a bit too large for me to feel really comfortable with. The material they make them out of is very soft....for what i would expect a grip to be and compared to all my other grips, factory and aftermarket. The only way i can describe it is like "chalky. I had to modify one side a lot to get it to work with the safety...wasn't hard because the material is so soft but it was an annoyance that i should'nt have had to deal with. May fit other 1911's just fine....not the Taurus's.

No clue how they make them or how they can sell at such a reasonable price but that's OK with me. I purchased several different colors and styles from this seller and do not regret any of the purchases. Fit and finish are just great and the looks of the 1911 just improved about 100% !!

Unfortunately, these didn't fit my hand as well as I had hoped but I went with another model of their grips and absolutely love them. Shipping was prompt and the grips were of great quality.

Not bad for the price.They have a slight tacky feel and will fill your hand to shoot.

For the money these make a nice upgrade. It gave my gun a whole new look. nice agressive profile and handles nice too
