Nice sturdy mount for antennas
This mount is plenty tough. I had originally wanted one a little narrower but I do like the strength of this one and it worked well.

I'm on the verge of swearing by these mounts
Yep. Nice mounts. Easy to assemble and solid construction. I have two of these mounts I use for professional weather station sensors. We don't get many hurricanes up here in north Alabama, but if we did, I'm confident my weather data would press on using these mounts.

A alternative to commercial cable service costs
This purchase was part of a project to save money on cable company bills, which previously were adding up to almost $150/month for internet service, cable programming and converter box. The solution gives me high-definition TV for over $100/month less. I ordered the Antennas Direct CLEARSTREAM4 Antenna and the 75 Cm J-mount/mast to attach the antenna to my roof eave. I used 50 feet of 75-ohm tv cabling to run the signal to my TiVo TCD652160 HD Digital Video Recorder and I was in business. I quit using the converter box and cable tv programming (keeping only high speed internet service) and signed up with TiVO and Netflix at much more reasonable monthly rates. The Clearstream 4 antenna assembled without major hassles. The illustrations provided were more helpful than the written directions, but in the end it will go together only one way. The antenna itself is made of lightweight but well-engineered materials and it has not shown any problems in the strong local winds common in this area. The television stations in my area use mountaintop transmitters to send their signals. I went online to [...], plugged in my address, and was provided with a map showing the directions from my house to the various transmitters. The Clearstream4 antenna has a wide signal reception range, so I found that turning the antenna to an azimuth of about 300 degrees (NNW direction) worked very well and I was able to get clear signals of all the local stations. The antenna mounted securely to the 75-cm J-mount mast with a couple of U-bolt assemblies provided with the antenna. The mast was attached to the roof with 5/16" carriage bolts. I attached it near the eave line of my house so that the mounting holes were drilled under the eave and not into the interior of the house, but the bolts and holes were caulked with roofing compound for weather protection. I attached the curved, J-portion of the mast down, closest to the mounting plate at the roof, although it appears you can mount it in whichever manner that works for the roofline slope or mounting location. I ran the antenna cable down the side of the house, into a vent space at the foundation and then through the crawl space of the house to the location of my home entertainment center. I now receive over a dozen broadcast channels OTA (over the air), most in high-definition. There are a few cable shows I miss having, but for $100/month, I'm coping. By the way, I ordered the 75 Cm J-mount/mast, Antennas Direct CLEARSTREAM4 Antenna and TiVo TCD652160 HD Digital Video Recorder through Amazon. The prices were competitive, products received were as-described, and everything arrived on time and in good condition.

RCA should be ashamed
I bought this to replace the one that came with my RCA antenna. It's more bulky and sturdy, and most importantly taller to give you more range. And it stays at 90°, right where you set it at. This should've been the one that was included with an antenna that cost $150.

Solid J-Mount extender. Works well!
This mount is perfect for what I needed it for -- to mount the BoostWaves Antenna to the side of my roof. It is strong and can be easily manipulated into position and then tightened down. It is powder coated too so it will last forever without rusting.I needed more height than what this offered, so I went to my local hardware store and bought an 8-foot piece of 1" diameter PVC tube to use as an extender. Much cheaper than buying a metal extender here on Amazon and it will last just as long. I extended my antenna 6 more feet higher. I drilled holes into the top of the PVC tube and ran wire to all four corners of my roof to keep the pvc steady in the wind. No problem! Simply put the PVC into the top of this mount and bolt it in. Works like a charm and I definitely recommend this J-Mount. Just be careful it fits your antenna diameter. The maximum diameter to insert any pvc tube, extender tube or antenna tube into the top of this mount is 1 inch! Of course, you can buy a slightly smaller diameter, but DO NOT buy a larger diameter extender unless you have an adapter to scale it down to 1" or smaller.

Fantastic mount
You cannot get a better deal on mounts. Heavy duty, Sturdy! However the adjustment can be tough if you want to install the mast at an angle. Suggest you take a four foot level and a one foot cardboard square and use the level to mark vertical on the cardboard at the mounting location. Then take the cardboard and align the mast with the vertical line drew on the cardboard on a flat work surface. Mounting will go a lot easier.

Works great with Starlink pipe adaptor.
Sturdy pipe. I'm hoping the bracket holds up. If you are going to use this with a standard 2nd generation Starlink, I recommend using the Starlink pipe adaptor and a 1-¼" flexible pipe coupling (which has a 1-⅝" ID) between the mast pipe and the adaptor. See the photos for how well it worked getting past my 18" overhang.

Didn't these use to come with a plastic end cap to keep out the rain?
Negatives: The bolts are a bit on the short side, making assembly a bit difficult. No end cap, so rain will run through the pipe. The pivot cut out (the slot) should be a little bit longer, so the pipe can be angled a little more.Positives: Seems fairly sturdy.Final thoughts: I should have bought another make/model. For the price it should be better.

Simple, works.
Comes with roofing screws that you'd typically find on a metal roof.

Works!
Works, easy to install and still doing its job even after I relocated it onto the roof.
