Avanti Ultra Turbo Professional Ionic Hair Dryer, Grey/Red

Wonderful dryer!!! I use it professionally at my salon. Only down side was that my last dryer only lasted for only 13 months .

I purchased the previous model of this hairdryer about 7 years ago, used it daily for 5 years and now use it on weekends only at the cottage. I purchased the same dryer 2 years ago to replace my unit and the house and have used it daily since. Until this morning. When it died. After a mere 24.5 months the best it does is whir and light up. It is essentially a paperweight. Clearly the company is taking a dive in quality given my older model is still working perfectly and the new one hardly lasted. I emailed the company and they truly stand by their pathetic one year warranty. For the money they charge for these dryers you could go to walmart and buy a conair every year then throw it in the garbage and you would still be ahead.I have quick drying hair so I use it for less than 5 minutes, 5 days per week. I cleaned the lint trap regularly and stored it in a special holder. It never got jostled or dropped. No reason to expect it to break. If you have thick hair that takes a while to dry, good luck to you! Burn your money instead.Do not buy!The response you can expect from this company:Thank you for your feedback.
