Bedford Home Full/Queen-Teal Floral Etched Fleece Blanket with Sherpa

This blanket is plenty warm, even tho it is light! (I should have ordered one, not two ...but I was persuaded by another reviewer that it was too light to be warm enough.) I rated it only 4 stars because it is hard to handle. The two sides are not just a reverse but two separate layers. The layers are only joined at the edges, making this hard to put on, hard to fold, and hard to keep tidy on a bed. I have considered having someone stitch the layers together, but I think I will just look for another blanket that behaves better. I want to stress, however, that it's a lovely warm blanket, for a decent price.EDIT:I gave this blanket to the Wildlife Care Center that I support with Smile and ordered a perfect new blanket from the American Blanket Company. Their blankets are guaranteed for life, never (I mean never) pill, will be replaced for free (forever) if they ever rip or tear, and they even shed (yes they do) pet hair. I REALLY wish Amazon carried their blankets. They are even priced the same as similar blankets. PLEASE Amazon, look into carrying their blankets!!!! I am a devoted Amazon user since 1999, and Amazon is my first choice. So you know I love you!

This is so soft! I am in love with this blanket, and my toddler loves it as well. I have a king size bed and bought the king size blanket and it fits perfectly. Hangs over the sides and back but doesn't touch the floor. The only small issue I have with it is that the two sides aren't sewn together so they tend to move around. I like to have wrinkle free things but sometimes the fleece part bunches up a little underneath while the velvety soft side looks fine. This also means that I have to sometimes pull on the top part because it's slid off the bed a little. But that doesn't take away from the coziness of this blanket. When I first got it I washed it in delicate and dried it on low (yes, it took a long time) and it came out beautifully. Sometimes I don't want to get out of bed because I want to just keep running my hands over the softness of it...and enjoy the warmth it gives without being heavy.

Soooooooooooooooo soooooooooooooooft!Received this as a surprise for Christmas and it's perfect, of course it would be more perfect if I could keep kitty out of it's fluffy, comfy folds. Every time I go to crawl into my new plush blanket, a little grey kitty bounces out. Each time I finally cuddle in, there's suddenly a kitty beside me kneading and drooling on my cushy, velvety new blanket. MY new blanket!The pattern is lovely, though I don't believe kitty-bean really appreciates its intricacies, but the sherpa side is something the two of us definitely agree on... perfect! Definitely a warm blanket, not something I'll be able to use through warmer months... kitty, I assume, will gladly make use of it year round.Looks like if I want to truly enjoy this blanket, I'm going to have to buy another... this one's taken.

I have been looking for a warm blanket that isn't heavy on my body while I am sleeping. I found this blanket and decided to order it. It is not heavy while sleeping but very warm, and I am usually a cold person during the winter. I also love the look. I was worried that the floral print would be too girly for my husband, but it is elegant looking. The sherpa and fleece are only sewn together on the edges but that doesn't bother me. The bed still makes up nicely without any bumps. I make my bed every morning. The gray is perfect. It is a gray blue color which goes with my bedroom decor and not too dark.

This blanket is so soft!!! It's super light too. My grandchildren love to curl up in this blanket. My blanket cuddling yorkies love it too.

This was gift for my mother and she absolutely loves it. She has had Sherpa blankets in the past and among those this is one of the better quality ones. Super soft with the only downside of having to be extra careful when cleaning to maintain the fluffy-ness of the blanket.

I love the color. I love the feel. It is soft and warm and comfortable.But it is not properly stitched down, and therefore does not hold its shape well. It is stitched all the way around, but it needs some kind of anchoring, either around the edges or through the middle. It's not actually turning itself inside out, but that's the best way I can describe it. The pink side and the fleece side slide back and forth until the blanket just doesn't make sense anymore.

This blanket could be the softest thing ever created. But the Sherpa side sheds! I'll throw it in the wash and hope that will take care of the problem. But if it doesn't--I'm sending it back! Hope I don't have to because it's so soft and plush, and the floral etch design is beautiful. I do think however that the blanket should have been given a stitched border all around to keep the Sherpa in place. I dislike the way it hangs below the plush side in places--causing the blanket to have a puffy, undefined edge. I like my blankets to lay flat and neat.
