Excellent for planning routes or just seeing what's near where you are. A must have....

Easy to read

I bought this as had bought a new bike back in February, with a basket in the front to keep all my essentials in, now I went out for a bike ride the other day, and my phone was only 50% charged, so I preceded to get to my Destination 7 miles away! I had gone round in a circle for an hour, thanks to my decreasing phone battery, and had to keep stopping to look up every road, what a nightmare! My battery quickly was at 1% and hadn't reached my destination, so I gave up had one last look on my phone and luckily managed to get back on the road home! It was when this happened that I decided enough is enough I need a backup, you can't beat the old fashioned way of doing things, This Book will never die on you, will always be there when you need it. And get you out of a sticky situation. the price I paid was well worth the reassurance that every time I go out on my bike, this will be in my basket.... Just by it it's great. Can't beat A-Z best maps in my opinion. Will be buying more for more days out in different places!! 👍

Great reference book.... Print is quite small and I find it tricky to read without strong glasses but London is big and book size handy so its a compromise 🤩

Using this and the Cityfinder app helped me find my way round London without any problems.

I thought we might go to London but we haven’t made it. Nevertheless I enjoy looking at the maps. Hopefully we’ll get there before long.

A little small print for everyday use

I bought this A-Z Street Atlas for an upcoming trip to London. I had bought one way back in 1977 when I started work there, and it was indispensable. This updated, colour, version is excellent and, apart from my old eyes struggling with the small print, looks to become as indispensable as the original from 45 years ago. It is a little heavier than my older copy, but then that's what backpacks are for.

I had this book 25 years ago the first time I visited London and am headed there again so this was a must have! SO easy to find your way around London with this book. All you do is find the address in the back of the book and it will tell you the map page and where on the page to find the address you're looking for. From there, you can see if there is a tube (subway) station nearby and the tube map is on the back of the book. Super easy!
