Excellent coolor!!
We liked the looks of the YETI coolors, but didnt love the price and the dimensions didnt fit what we needed, in looking for similar but alternate options I found like greeen gem and my husband is in love with it!! Highly recommend!

Favorite coolers.
I have the 65 and wanted something smaller. I was afraid this would be too small but it is perfect for some drinks!

Pleasantly Surprised
After hours of research from Yeti to Igloo, I decided to try my luck on this cooler. I read the reviews and was impressed buy the overall satisfaction rating from previous buyers but wasn’t convinced it would meet my needs …..but at half the price of a Yeti I decided to give it a try. I needed something for boon docking to keep things like meat and dairy really cold for multiple days. I’ll use my old cooler for drinks, veggies, etc. I received my new Kenai cooler quickly, in perfect condition and decided to give it a quick test. I placed about six frozen freezer packs (small 6” x 3”) in the bottom of the cooler and sealed it up. After about 12 hours the freezer packs were still frozen. 24 hours later, the freezer packs are still about half frozen. Mind you, I did not pre-cool the chest, nor did I fill it other than one layer of ice packs in the bottom. I’ve only opened the cooler a couple of times to check the packs. I’m pretty impressed. If I pre-chilled and filled the compartment with frozen items (packs, food, frozen bottles, etc.) I think it will last at least a couple of days maybe longer.

Kenai 25 Cooler
I keep the cooler in the back of my truck under a tonneau cover. The only critical part is the lids metal hinge pin on one side had rattled itself out about six inches and I had to push it back in after several months. Cooler works great though and that's the only time the pin has tried to work itself out. Easy to open one handed, keeps ice a long time, drain plug works great as you don't have to remove it all the way to drain the water out when finished with it, not extremely heavy loaded down. I'd probably do the purchase again even knowing about the hinge pin issue.

I’m sure there are other coolers out there that hold ice better than this one does, but this one looks good on the back of my Kawasaki KRX1000 Trail Edition.

Just buy this!
By far best value in a 25qt cooler out there. Love the 2 rope handles also. You can put a strap through them and shoulder carry it. Drain plug is very nice also. Quit looking and just buy this cooler. Got the basket and freeze pak divider also.

Kenai 25qt cooler by Grizzly coolers.
Well unboxing I was not impressed. The cooler is so light it can’t hold ice long like that. Lid seal is subpar and something I would think to be on a Walmart cooler. 180$ really? This cooler should not be more than 115$ at best. It’s the perfect size and I love the handles. The lid will leak if your are moving cooler and get you soaked. Not something I want inside my truck spilling. I did not like the lid latches either. If your gonna spend that kinda of money buy an Engel or Rctic.

Nice, but it does leak when turned over.
Overall, this is a pretty nice cooler, however, the lower price point does show. The cooler walls and lid are well-constructed and appear durable. The latches are OK, but not as substantial as on more expensive coolers. Unfortunately, this cooler does leak when turned over. I saw this in another review and checked it first thing out of the box. The cooler, at least the one I received, leaks somewhat substantially (more than a trickle) from the middle hinge area. I checked the rubber gasket seal around the lid and it is a paper thin rubber strip. I checked it against my Taiga cooler and that cooler has a substantially thicker double seal. I will be keeping the cooler though, as it is the right size for every day use and don't expect it to be upside down. However, I will be relying on my Taiga cooler for camping trips.
