Andrew Lloyd Webber For Piano

This book was perfect for me. I'm generally intermediate to advanced, and I would say this book is definitely on the easier side. I can sight read through most of these with minimal hesitation. With that said, the arrangements are great, and do justice to the original pieces.I bought it specifically for the Phantom of the Opera arrangements, but I was pleasantly surprised with Memory from Cats, plus a few others I wasn't familiar with but are still beautiful and fun to play.Highly recommended if you enjoy ALW's work.

Love the songs included. Reasonable difficulty for students who have studied piano for 4 or more years.

This is an excellent collection of Andrew Lloyd Webber songs for solo piano. There are a couple of weak ones because the songs picked really didn't have much going on to start with- "Any Dream Will Do", "Love Changes Everything", but those are the easier ones, so it gives the collection a range from late intermediate to early advanced level. Pie Jesu is lovely, the four from Phantom of the Opera are very good, as are the two from Jesus Christ Superstar, "Memory" and "Don't Cry for Me Argentina." My students who love lyrical music like playing these very much.

One of my favorite collections! I play at a restaurant on weekend & I get lots of thank yous (& tips) when I play these selections.

Good selection of music, however too simplified for what i wanted.
