Your Grandparents Are Zombies! (Choose Your Own Adventure - Dragonlark)

Great book! Colorful and bigger than the normal kids novels. My 8 y.o. son loves the storyline!

I was looking for an early reader version of the Choose Your Adventure books and this is exactly what I got. My grandsons love this (and others I purchased. I wanted books that would encourage them to pick a book up on their own to read and these books did as I had hoped. They are also made with very good quality materials.

I give it only 3 stars because even though it's an awesome book, the idea of interacting is awesome but having the same beginning gets old. My kids want to read it over and over but make me paraphrase the beginning. I wish there was a few different beginnings. Also, this book is for very young kids. My children are 7,8 and 9 years old and this book is for more like 4 to 7. I found that there is more of these books but they are rated for a bit older children. Also, my autistic son won't touch the book pages of normal books because of texture issue and these books are high gloss pages.

When I was a little girl we used to read these wide eyed until we reach the ending! Unsatisfied, I'd start all over again and do another story, and another story, until I've exhausted all possibilities. Sometimes, my sister would accuse me that I peek at the endings. Lol. That was 30 years ago. Now I bought it for my 6 year old son hoping he will catch the fervor I had for these books, I never wanted to put these books down!

It's very hard to walk into an actual bookstore these days and find these books. They just don't make them like they used to. Our 9 year old son is not at all interested in reading and we figured these books that require him to help determine the story and actually participate in making the story happen, would be more fun than your typical books. So after some research, these books had great reviews. I'll have to rate and review again once he's made it through actually reading the book.

I bought this for my 6 yr old to make reading an adventure for him, his siblings have fell in love with it and I now have to get more your own adventure books for everyone!

My 5 and almost 7 year old enjoyed this book. We have read it more than once to try out different scenarios. I should have looked at the pages though because I thought this was going to be more like a chapter book.

My son is 4 and asks me to read this everyday. He loves his grandparents and he loves zombies, so that might be why. Lol! There aren't a lot of options like other reviews state, but it's cute.

Purchased as a gift and was well received

I remember these books from when I was a child and I know many children get bored of reading the same books. With these there's a different ending depending on what you select as you go through it.I think my brother was more excited by the books than my nephews as it took him back to when he was a child.It arrived so quickly too.

I brought this for my sons birthday, he loved it. But he did read it in a day.

My 7 year old boy doesn't have much interest in reading but now that he can choose what happens in the story he really enjoys it.

After purchasing and reading the Haunted House one of these first (which is 5 stars) I (and my son) have been left disappointed. Rather than lots of options for him to choose his own adventure it's page after page of forced choices with many ending after one or two decisions.
