8 year old daughter had infections after getting her ears pierced. Was told surgical steel earrings would be better. Put these in. Cleaned them once a day with sea salt water (none ionized). Did not twist as that can prolong the healing. Claire's employee told me to twist earrings, but was told by a tattoo and piercing artist to not twist them. Twisting rips the fresh sores inside the hole and restarts the healing process. Just normal healing can take months and months. Wish I had known all this, took a while to learn the right way to take care if my daughter's ear piercings.

We’ve had these for a few months now and are really pleased with them. They were a little bigger than I initially wanted for my 1-y-o’s ears, but I came to like them. Easy to screw in, and even though I check them periodically like the product suggests, I’ve found that they stay pretty secure over time.

Love that my 3 year can't get them off this is the 12th pair of earrings I have tried. Waited to review as she got the others off within 2 weeks but not theses. Soooo Happy! Would buy again!

I bought these for my daughter who is allergic to almost every metal and needs the surgical steel. She ended up not wanting them so I wear them. They are super cute and fun. I love the screw back and the cute colorful jewels.

My daughter has super sensitive ears and even some hypoallergenic advertised earrings have made her ear red and swollen. This is the FIRST pair that hasn’t bothered her at all and she sleeps in them too. Bonus for the easy screw on back so she won’t lose the back easily.

My daughter wears these constantly new ear piercing very sensitive to other earrings we do take out before she washes hair just in case but she loves the twist on backs because she feels like her ear isn’t getting pinched. And she’s not worried about losing them!

These earrings were purchased for a Christmas present. My granddaughter [6 years old] put them in instantly and hasn't taken them off since. There has been no irritation and the screw back helps them stay on as well as keeping the post from poking her little head.Love them.
